Hi Vj´ers. I finally got my medical yesterday and our interview is Feb 18 at the US embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark.

My husband is with me so we can attend the interview together and I am about to prepare all the papers we are going to bring to the embassy - on the appointment letter it states that our original marriage certificate, birthcertificates etc has been submitted to the embassy. Will that mean the embassy already got those by now?.

Travelling out here my husband only brought copies of our last submissions to the NVC ( DS-230 and the AOS stuff). We are now in doubt if we should ask our family in the States to mail us the copies of our I-130 packet that we submitted to the USCIS when we first filed??.

This journey has taken us about 2 years to complete and we are this close now, so it would be very sad and frustrating if us missing a opy of the I-130 wil caue any further delays

Also, being my husband will attend the interview with me, will it stll be neccesary for us to provide further evidence ( emails, phonerecord, planetickets etc)??.

Have a great day :)

If you submitted all the original documents to NVC then the embassy should have them and you'll be fine.

I've never really known a CO to ask for a copy of the I-130 but if it will make you feel better have a family member fax or scan a copy to you, but I doubt you'll need it - but someone else may chime in here and correct me.

You should still bring something to show your bonafide marriage. Just to play it safe

Good luck
