Ok...maybe it's nothing but..... but in this "waiting" for NOA2 mode, I been going crazy watching my projected timeline and Igor's list.... both are moving targets and seem to change several times a day. But in the past week, I've watched my projected adjudication start dates change from April 22 to April 30..... That's another possible week delay. Is this a sign that USCIS is beginning to slow down a little?? Is the Haiti crisis starting to snag resources?

And...... am I the only one that looks at my USCIS online status at least 5 times a day???? I have email and txt msg updates too....but haven't been so lucky yet to receive anything.

When were you under the impression that USCIS was a quick breeze through?

Seriously. Get a new hobby. It's a long wait. Although you could get lucky. I hope you do. :)

*grins* There's a double shot of sentiment for ya :D

You're not the only one, except I'm checking our online banking to see if the check's been cashed to get the case number to be able to check our status online. Once that's arrived, I'll calm down or make myself crazy. If it comes early, then it'll be an awesome surprise. Once we get closer to the 3 month mark, I'll up the checking. If we get to the 4 month mark, I'll start pulling my hair out. lol...

Good things come to those that wait... theoretically :D

A guy goes into the doctor and hits himself on the head with a hammer and says..."Doctor, it hurts when I do this" The doctor said "Stop doing that"

Turn off the timelinbes, they are nothing but someone's wild @ss guess. Some guesses are somewhat less wild than others, but that is all. Get prepared for your new life, there is a lot to do and little time to do it in. Get all your interview documents ready now (except I-134) wait for the NOA2 to show up in the mailbox. It will, and it means nothing until it does.

Thx for the responses. Yeah, I knew it wouldn't be a breeze, but I had been tracking USCIS these past few months and it seemed the even CSC was starting to get K1s out in under 90 days....some folks getting them in a month. But these darn timeline calculations are crazy...up and down everyday. This waiting game is the worst. I followed the excellent guides here and can only hope I end up with a good adjudicator. Questions in the mind everyday while waiting:

Will I get an RFE?

Can someone touch me again? :)

Will it be 90 days or 5 months...or longer? Or, God willing, Shorter?

Then there's the "what after" USCIS questions.....?? NVC? USEM?

How do you guys get through this without going insane?

I still have not gotten any confirmation CSC received the envelope. No NOA1 email nor check cashed. I also am checking my email and online bank too many times per day. All I have is the US Post Office web site that says it was delivered Feb 8.

I will be a lot happier when CSC agrees with the USPS and sends an email NOA1 or cashes my check.

How you deal with this whole visa process depends on your expectations. Realisticly, you should expect your NOA2 within 4-5 months. If you receive it within that timeframe, then you have met your expectations and you will not drive yourself crazy. If you get caught up in the emotional frenzy, which is easy to do, then your wait will be a long one. Sit back, relax, don't worry about things you have no control over, and don't pay any attention to the timelines.

Good luck and hoping your journey is speedy.
