Hello,

I am aware that after the visa is issued, I have 6months to move to the U.S. Does this mean that all of my furniture, etc has to be moved when I move? Or can I wait until a later date to move it? I ask because when i move over to the US we will likely be living in PA for a few months before moving out west to CO. I wanted to avoid moving my stuff twice, and just hire movers to move it from Canada to CO when we move out west (it will likely be within 6months from me actually moving to the U.S).

Second question: Am I allowed to bring my pet ball python to the U.S? I have tried to find info online and can't seem to find anything that seems reliable regarding this.

thanks for all your help!

Of course you can leave your stuff in Canada. Since you're on CR-1 you'll get a green card and you can go back for it whenever you need to.

I left all my stuff in Canada, I don't need it yet.

And the bringing in of the snake may depend by state. Try looking up something in the state you're moving to? Does the snake have a vet right now? Maybe your vet will know about taking it to another country.
