St Louis is in the middle of the country!

JG I know you are probably shocked I can be so insecure....I am the type of person that keeps a lot in. Thanks for the compliments.

Oh, girl, I am full of insecurities some days. Others, I feel like I can conquer the world. It's just a thing.

I agree.....St. Louis is pretty centralized.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Ok, kids.....I'm out. I have a funeral to go to at 10 tomorrow so I finagled not coming in tomorrow at all. If there isn't anything happening after funeral, I may come in just to save some of my personal time for a better reason. But, the way I am feeling today........really pissy.......you might not see me till Monday.

Everyone have a really good weekend. Be safe. And, I'll see you when I see you.

btw......Mardi Gras & Valentine's Day BETTER be good OR ELSE!!!!!!

Me too! It's gonna be hard to 'prove our relationship' when it comes to removing conditions because there aren't that many pictures of both of us....but there are a TON of him! I can't help it....he's so cute (& sexy tuh)! :luv:

I read one person's review and he & his fiance realized they didn't have many pictures together the day before their interview at the embassy (possibly Nigeria, I'm not sure). So they went out that day with plenty of outfits & kept changing clothes/hair/locations & taking pictures. They did 1 hr printing & viola! Pictures together.

If you can pronounce it correctly, you can use this to communicate with your housekeeper:

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

I use that all the time. It works great for me telling her something, cause I just type what I want to say & let her read it off the screen. Then she usually tries to respond to me in Spanish. It's the her --> me communication that is harder.

Even when she writes me notes, I have trouble understanding her handwriting & often miss a few (sometimes crucial) words. I've found it easier to bring in some notes & have SPanish-speaking coworkers translate, as they can figure out the questionable words by looking at some of the letters & the context.

And it sounds like a fun place to visit. Hmmm...

LOL @ your dad calling you high booty! I like high booties....there is something very asthetically pleasing about them to me.

I also like provoking hubby to say BUMBAC**T! Then I mimic him & say it like he just did & we always laugh.

Where is my interview date????

Soon come!

I've found it easier to bring in some notes & have SPanish-speaking coworkers translate, as they can figure out the questionable words by looking at some of the letters & the context.

I suppose that's one alternative if we start getting to crunch time & don't have enough pics. I just really dislike pictures of myself so that's another reason I try to stay out of the camera lense.

I know enough Spanish to be able to speak it properly but don't know all of the words. I can usually pick up about 1/10th of any conversation. Fortunately, I do have bilingual coworkers that could help me out if I ever needed it too.

My son is not feeling well so Im taking into his Pediatrician.

Hope its not strep but I thinks it something

Hope your son feels better soon!

Ells...you had asked me previously if I planned on being a vendor this year....sorry just remembered ....

but no. My friend who I was working with last year didn't get in as one of the vendors as they "supposedly" cut down the vendors to only 4. He was quite upset as he has done it for years....oh well...

I'm sure that cuts into his livelihood when they cut back like that. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the new venue (didn't go last year & never been to the Fox) but hopefully it'll be okay. We're going to buy tix tomorrow. I was wondering if I'd get to see you.....are you doing any fests in CA this summer?

No this summer is pretty much a wash for me as my school program is year round...plus my calculations show that by mid-end of summer I may need to make a journey to JA for an interview....
