Hi everyone!!

I finally have internet - we are over in Portland now. Yankee's wedding was absolutely beautiful, she was glowing! We had the best time with all of them, and have a bazillion pics that will be posted when we reach home. Can't read back now, I see you chatted to a new thread! Hope everyone is okay!

I just think back to the bad choices in men I made...ugh sickens me.. the only good part is my kids.

I just registered for my state math test.. Can yall pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase pray for a sista to pass it. It's scheduled for March 13th. I really need big prayers... Math is NOT my friend :angry: This is the fourth time Im taking it. I get so stressed just thinking about it. What's crazy is I passed my math methods course (teaching children how to do math) with a B but Im always 2 points shy of the state test...mi cyann take ie! Just pray please! Thank you :)

I'm so proud of Steven. He's made many friends in our apt complex and has made it well known that he wanted to work as soon as he got approved to do so. So his friends look out for opportunities for him.

Just yesterday, he spent 5 hours gutting a house and will do it again today. Since he won't pursue a full time job until after returning from Jamaica, these side hustles are great ways for him to make fast $$.

Good for him & both of you really! I know how much this helps.

Disclaimer: Don't wait until you are old as dirt to take State issued tests!!!!

Did you guys hear about this interview that John Mayer did? :unsure: I use to think he was so cool and secretly wanted him and Alicia Keys to hook up...oh well he is a ####### :angry: I mean he was honest but apparently he said some very racial charge things...at the end of the day its his right but damn dude why are you now coming back saying you sorry...talking about why he doesn't date black women...poe thang...this is one that doesn't want to date you but I use to actually go out and purchase your cds...no more, no more.... :angry:

He says I have a bad temper like my Pa & I need to work on that. It's true....& I'm trying. :whistle::blush:

Hmm.. That I'm too concerned with $$.

But I feel that concern about $$ is like a see-saw. If one person is not concerned at all, the other has to be very concerned. But if both people are concerned a sufficient amount, then the see-saw is balanced.

I agree & we have the same issue.

There are lots of things that I am...especially my looks.

You are beautiful Dillon! I'm like Dens...I don't just say things to say things. If I don't agree with something or believe it to be true, you won't hear/read me saying so. I keep my mouth shut if I don't have anything nice to say. And you are lovely! :yes:

That's a good one...I agree with you on that one...somebody has to keep an eye out on the $$$. Den is definitely the more conservative one when it comes to the $$$. I definitely believe in saving and all but I also will spend.

Same here but last week when I went to the dr my blood pressure was sky high so its time to get back on my health routine...gotta let some of them fried chicken wangs and thangs go....dayummmmm :angry:

I've always been hefty...why I didn't know I was bigger than the other kids in school until like middle school? :unsure: My family always told me I was beautiful and I could do anything I wanted to do. I was always outspoken... I was a cheerleader, in the marching band, I even won a local pageant and was also Homecoming Queen at my junior college so yes I've always knew I was cute...I've always had the finest bf's and mane folks.... :rofl:

This is the biggest I've ever been in my life but you wouldn't know it...I just know that I'm all for the big gurls and all that but my health has got to be my top priority. It also helps that Den is very supportive...he always says baby I love you so much...all of that, all of that! :rofl:

One thing he told me though after my dr's appointment last week was that he was really concerned about my blood pressure being so high and he was like baby I don't want to lose my wife over something that can be prevented...let's do this..."Team Douglas"!

You GO GIRL with all that confidence! I admire when people have it like that. (I certainly don't.)

That is sweet he's so supportive & wants you feeling your best! :luv:

i cant wait until my interview feb. 25 and i cant wait to see my wifey for it has been 6 months now but the process took 8 months. for valentine day i just sent her a card but its nothing like being together with the one you luv. i plan to stay 6 days in two weeks

Wow, long time....I remember those 6 month separations....those are tough! Soon come till you're reunited....enjoy!

only 3 more days so glad to get out of here before the next round comes!

Yeah I try to budget for what I want and only pay for it in cash...it might take me a while but I usually get what I want.

Yeah Dens is very supportive...I'm very blessed...no worries I'm going to get on the good foot :whistle:

Talking about insecurities...I used to be really insecure about my lips (my mama always said I had big "African" lips :blink: ) and I was flat-chested! Well, as I got older it seems that women with fuller lips became "in-style" and it turns out that alot of folks liked my big lips! :devil: Took me a long time to love 'em, but I do now!! As for the flat-chestedness--well I can't do squat about that, and I'm thinking that has NEVER been an issue w/ anyone that I've been with, so it's like oh well...I used to tell my husband that I wanted implants and he threatened to leave me :angry: Said that I was perfect the way God made me for him...sooooo.....small-breasted it is! :lol:

Now...where's my hummingbird?!
