Me too Lawny I got married at the same place you did and I paid $5.50 for each certified copy and I got 3 of them the same day.

I married in PG County Maryland and received copies the same day for $5.

I hope it comes soon too, but what I meant was that stressing is worse when you have no one to comfort you. As you said, sometimes it's best to step away from the visa journey.

My father is in town so yesterday we went bowling & played games @ Dave & Buster's.

Then came home & he taught Steven how to play Blackjack.

Then we watched a bunch of episodes of Forensic Files.

Good times.

AMQUEEN called me this morning and let me know that dhl's website says "ready for pickup" So I get excited, went to check mine, nothing :angry:

So I called NVC and that's when I started dancing, the rep said "your visa was printed yesterday" So I infer that dhl just hasn't logged it into their system yet, let's see what happens later but thank God coz I was on the verge of losing it.

Thanks yardies for keeping me sane :yes:

mawnin--- why so many problems with the marriage certificates. On the day we go married I asked for 5 and they lady had them ready before the ceremony with the gold seal.

Cause PA is about a biotch to get them from. You can't even order them online. You have to do it by mail..uugh...

:wow: I just called and they said they were waiting for one of the copies to be signed by the dayum whoever the hell signs them. They are sending the other copies out today... Ol bastids! Let me not get them before the week is over and Im going to raise holy hell at that friggin courthouse... Wooooooooosahhhhhhhhh

Wow I really can't beleive it takes that long MrsTee...we got ours the same day too when we took it there to file our paperwork. They won't let you go down there and get it in person?

I have a copy but its not a certified copy. Im not trying to get RFE for it. Its in a different county from where I live, not far but I don't have the time nor the patience to drive to get it. I'd miss time off work and I can't afford to do that right now. Its cool, let me NOT get it by friday.... :angry: Ive been know to cuss folk out in a professional way. The magistrate or whoever the hell sign em gonna hear my mouth :angry:

Im going to take my own advice and calm down. Everything in due time. Maybe it is going to allow hubby to get a really good job when the time comes. So Imma pray and have patience :)

The Yardie ladies have instilled this in me and Im greatful for each one of you.

We really need to have a NYC link up. I would definitely come.. You know hubby and I been on the move. I'd even come to St. Louis to visit you and JG even though a past trip wasn't so nice there. At least I'd be with folks I care about this time lol

Irie, I was watching the Bachelor last night and thought of you and Louis. Mind you this is the only episode Ive seen, It was filmed in St. Lucia! It looks absolutely breathe taking there. I also got mad about the girl he chose lol
