My husband is the same way. Mich was asking the same question a few weeks ago. I don't know of anyone off hand. All the ones I know have all moved to ATL or FL. That's goood. I did the same to my husband the first time we went to NY -- he asked where we going, I said to the store, den he was like mi look like ediat it no tek dat lang fi reach di store. When we linked up with his friends in Queens they damn near lost their mind. We want to do Atlantic City this summer, if we have time. We have a voucher for Sandals Whitehouse that we need to use before the end of this year.

Times like this I miss NYC. I could get a cake easy and it wont cost me a arm and leg. I call this lady and she want $65 for a cake. She must have lost her mind.

I would definitely do it all over again. I love me some Damien  . I wouldn't change the K1 process, being broke, explaining the same thing 100 times...etc.

Now I regret not having the wedding I wanted but it's all good.

Awww Shemmy that is too sweet! It's never too late Mama!

As with all of us, transition can be hard.

In regards to BM drama, don't make it discourage you one bit!!!! Life actually will be better off for the child as the father is able to find work & contribute to raising of the child again. If you see where BM want to hype up herself on the phone, hang up after a few choice words or tell her to EASY!!!!!!!

VJ family is here to give input & comfort when needed.

Best of luck on journey

I agree don't let it stress you...just you all watch and see and you all can say I said it first. They call you 10x a day asking for money for this and money for that but once the child comes and lives with you....they don't send a DIME for their CHILD!!!!! I don't let it stress me...what goes around comes around.

I would definitely do everything all over again. I feel like when God has made someone specifically for you, you should go any length to be with them. When I was dating people would think that I was crazy because I would pass over some awesome men. The problem is that there was always something missing. Being a wife is the ultimate calling (assignment) by God so I refuse to settle with someone because the road seems easier or to gain approval from friends/family.

True...I had some men that I like to call..."Good on Paper" men...everything checked off on the list but like you said...something just was missing! When I met Den, nothing was missing...I didn't feel like I settled at all but that he was so much more then this mental list that I had in mind...so thankful I just was quiet and listened to God.

Very good question. I definitely would do it over. I really do love Acory & he proffesses his love to me in more than one way.(I read Steve Harvey book). As Nat stated, I would have taken less trips & saved money.

I do admit, it gets trying @ times, but I'm confident it will work. Communication is key!!

Amen to that...communication is key!
