The 1 is the best here - and next to impossible to get - If you do everything you are supposed to do at your job and do it well, you get a 3 (out of 5) - 2s mean you went above and beyond - Maybe 100 people in the entire company get a 1 (over 35000 employees)- this is the second year in a row I have gotten a 1 - and no friggin raise - But the big wigs are still getting their bonuses - total BS

Sorry, sus we use the same system and I will be in the same boat in July. Our reviews are next month and eventhough I get an a-1 rating, still no raise...but all of the Directors/VP,AVP get bonuses and it sickens me to hear that funds are not in the budget and I see the budget everyday....fustrated

Okay, I am going home before my day gets any worse -

Don't feel well - got my review today - a 1 rating, which is unheard of - 2nd year in a row - but, oops, guess what - no raises this year!

Then our document indexer went down - the tech person isn't here so I was getting bombarded with calls - fixed it - then get a panicked call from her asking what's wrong - Told her what I did - then she sends an email that I shouldn't touch the indexer without letting her know - then bytch, get your butt to the office!

I TOTALLY feel your frustration at work today! I've had an equally annoying day & it's only noon!

My mother would not be calling too late or early - she is old school - if my phone rings after 9:30 pm she asks who is calling so late!

My parents too. Of course, because of cell minutes only being 'free' after 9:00, they know that most calls before 10:00 but after 9:00 are from me! They've gotten used to it. I try not to call after 10 when they go to bed (& I'm supposed to) though.

I'm off to heat up my lunch & then watch these movies since the boss is out on vacation today. Since Philly is off having fun & can't provide for us right now!

yeah that sucks for real.. what is the incentive for doing your job in excellence??? I know i should be doing my work unto the Lord and he is the rewarder, but GOSH.. w/ feedback like that, they wonder why ppl sit on the internet at work

We have the same problem here working for the state & it just makes my blood boil! I can't even think about it.

I am the one always calling my parents at the crack of dawn. Since they are two hours behind me I just can't wait sometimes to wait after 9. I get great pleasure waking them up...just as they did when I was a teenager trying to sleep til noon! My Mom always tries to pay me back but she has to get up pretty early to wake me up.

I was wondering that, too, before Sus explained. That HAS to be frustrating.

Sus, did they forewarn you of this? We had mandatory meetings a month ago where they told us not to expect raises this year. I was just glad I got mine at the end of last year, before the raise freeze.

If I were a person who could fall back asleep quickly, I might not mind sleep-disturbing calls. But once I'm up, I'm up for hours. And I NEED sleep to function. So I am not a fan of early/late calls. I don't get them much, though, as most of my fam/friends work similar hours & have similar feelings on the topic (except for 1).

We get calls at all hours from the Yard, though. Steven ignores most of the early ones. This morning, he put his phone on silent cause it was ringing so much, but that was hours after I was already awakened.

I don't like to put mine on silent, though, in case someone calls with an emergency.
