the medical exam was completed feb 18. im thinking bout the feb 25 interview.

I hope you get the medical back in time because it takes a little over a week. If not you'll still be fine for the interview. From what I saw when I went to my interview, the process isn't that bad. The CO's were polite and straight forward. They asked my SO 11 questions but they were simple questions and they didn't look at ANY of the evidence we have. Go confident and don't be nervous, I was shaking like hell and it was all for nothing. Also, from what I know, there haven't been any denials for a while so don't worry, wifey will do great and you'll both walk outta there smiling. :star:

Goodmorning yardies, wish everyone a good friday and a great week.

This is my last weekend alone and I'M HAPPY. No more shopping alone, cleaning alone, sleeping alone. Ok that's enough. I got him a jacket lastnight for $28 on sale @ Macy's :dance:

Morning all!

hello, I am currently trying to get my fiance a visiting visa to come the U.S. for my graduation. I was originally consdering a fiance visa but we are waiting to schedule our marriage to when both of our families will be able to attend. I am foreign myself but hold a U.S. passport.

I currently stay at my university. Is this a problem for my invitation letter? I can give them my phone number, but would I need to give a residential address? I have a friend off campus he could stay with for a few nights but is that necessary? he would be here for about one week.

Please help, I graduate this May 2010 and would love for him to be here. I have no idea how to go about this, what I need to do etc.... and I know it's a stretch. Thank you

Getting a visitor visa is the luck of the draw - he has to prove substantial ties to JA and an intent to return - and what those ties are is up to the interviewing officer, cause we have seen people with nothing get through, and people with everything get denied - Your invitation letter for your fiance, honestly, could be an issue - because seeing that he has a fiance in the US could prove intent to immigrate.

You gave a perfect description on the visitor visa. I think it's a lottery thing because there's just no way someone can go and have everything required but gets denied, a darn shame.

KJenkins: I think the best feeling about my hubby coming was seeing his reactions on the first day of being in the US. If I could go back to that day, I would in a heartbeat. It was awesome. Enjoy every minute of it.

DW -- when it got cold the 1st year my husband was here it got hives so bad he had to go to the ER -- I felt so sorry for him. I didn't even know that could happen. The docs says his skin is super soft (whatever) that means and it just needs to get adjust to the cold. He was fine by January. This happened in November 2008.

my fiance skin welts up really bad it comes and it disappears alot

Irie was involved in a hit and run last night. Some guy hit her and left the scene and her car was totaled but they are all ok.

Hey Ladies....

Just popping in to say hello. I am in vacay this week to hang out with Tierra on her school break. She spent the night at a friends house last night. Louis and I went out (looking pretty good I must say) and were heading home about 11:30 and some a$$hole hit my car, totalled it ... and sped off.

So now I am out a car..not sure how to get Louis to work!? Thats the worst part!

Oh and not pregnant - but that is so ok.... wasnt really planning on it and now I have to find a way to get a new car.... so we will try in a couple months and see how that goes. :)
