I just wanted to reply to the earlier conversations about finance/bill payments. From the day that I met my husband, I was always honest with him about my money situation--that I didn't have alot of it! Whenever I would go to JA, I made sure to let him know what the limitations would be, and what assistance I would need. And we made it "do what it do". My husband, like many others up here, was responsible for the rent and utilities at his place, as well as taking care of his mom, grandmother, and 2 nephews, so he was already familiar with having to make it work with what you have. I used to tell him all the time that all Americans aren't rich, that I was no where close to being rich, and now that he is finally here, he truly truly understands. I must say that we hadn't gone to open a bank account yet (I'm not quite sure why  )...in fact we just started talking about doing so, and will likely do it tomorrow since he has the day off...but I have made sure that he has some money in his pockets to spend b/c I know how much it sucks to have absolutely NOTHING! Well, even in doing this, he turns around and uses the $ that I let him know is for him to spend on himself to spend on things like groceries for the house, gas, or other things for the house! And I LOVE that! I never had to ask him to do any of that...he just chipped in where and when he could. And I was upfront about the bills that I pay now, and he works hard to try and keep expenses like electric to a reasonable amount (ooh it was sketchy the first month or so! :crying: ) When the paycheck does come in, he's already claiming the cable bill (cause right now there is no cable and he HATES missing soccer 24/7!), and we talked about him taking on the water bill, his own cell phone bill, and maybe contributing to half of the electric. I don't know...we'll see how it goes....but he's ready...and SO AM I!! I can't wait to see his face though when he sees all the taxes that will be coming out of his check!

To do Lists----------------------- Take care ladies

1. Pray

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and un-clutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest

18. Eat right.

19 Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus.'

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most)

32. Sit on your ego

33 Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

So am I Tee especially when I see everyone paying lower. I’m done in July and I can’t wait!!!

be careful jumping ship cause I left T-mobile for boost and the service in my area was crappy....actually it was the service in general.....when people try and call me it gives them the recording "please hold while the subscriber is located" ####### is that??? so then I tried cricket and anytime I was in a "newer" construction building with steel walls (government offices, work....) no signal....so now I am with Verizon and so far so good but I went all fancy and got a touch screen and as my son says......my fingers are just to fat!!! but I am getting used to it. It all depends on the area you live for the service you get....IMO

I believe Verizon is the best carrier out there. I had the I-phone and AT&T's service sucks big time.
