Yea see Irie..you ARE another nice libra. Any other libras on here? I know Tre's hubby is because he has the same bday as my hubby.

JQ- I can't believe your ex was on Maury. I wish you could find that clip. I bet the audiance was all booing him. hahaha

Finesse- I think you should follow through and give the monkeys a tour of the mall. People will see your belly and think poor girl is practicing her stroller driving skills...you bump into things the monkey nuh mind.

Where are the Washington,DC people at??? We're possibly planning on taking a trip there and I'm wondering where to stay. Any suggestions?

btw - i had to finally take my belly ring out....it was annoying the hell out of me. i think i shouls be ale to put it in again when this is over since i had it n for so many years.

otherwise, my doctor told me about http://www.pregnancypiercings.com/

nice  so ow dem feel bout baby girl coming to stay? (she is staying once you get her, right?)

they are okay about it,

we have a 3 bedroom house now so they have to give up one room for her and share- Not so happy about they- but on the other hand they have been to JA 3 times and visited with her so they feel like their lil sister is coming home. Its real cute how they are asking when she coming, but they also want another baby, so we will see

You are lucky you have twins on both side. I hope for twins, but doubt that is going to happen. I am getting very excited about having a pickney. I just want us to enjoy this first year of marriage, just us. We actually just talked about this last night and we are going to try for a 2011 libra...lol. My husband is a libra and I think libras in general tend to be nice people. Plus hubby said he wants an October baby like him. I know it's going to be tough to hit it (so to say) just right, but we're going to try. Bottom line we're going to start trying the end of this year.

I know it's a shock when you are not planning it, but if you are it will be a blessing and everything will fall into place. Plus how cute will he/she be??

My son is in October October 31st Halloween baby he is a Scorpio

Morning Yardies!

I'm going to see Mykal (Michael) Rose tonight by myself. I like roots & hubby doesn't care for it much so I get a 'me' night. I'm also taking furlough tomorrow so he has to get up for school & I get to put in the earplugs & stay in bed!

CASE COMPLETE

CONGRATS! (Just repeating myself from FB.)

What are those things called that you stand behind to get your picture taken?

So you look silly... like at fairs and theme parks etc...

know what I mean???? LOL

Face-in-hole boards??

i understand about the wanting to know but i think its not always about dna that make someone a parent... if someone raises a child as their own dna match or in their heart its their child..

I agree with that. That's why adoption is so successful.

Congrats My2, JQ, and TAMH!!!

Dillon- I too have issues with FB. My husband never has don't anything shady, but it's like I'm obsessed with his page and what he is doing/talking to. I've just had too many lying, cheating men in my life so I tend to think all men are like that. I'm working on trying to chill though. I've thought about just breaking away from FB too for that reason.

Irie- I have no idea why and I wasn't even drinking, but baby "Iris" came to mind for your possible baby. I thought it's a combo of Irie and Louis. I mean your name is Cat , not Irie, but that is what I call you on here so that is why Iris came to mind. I know I'm a whack.

I feel ya T2! It's hard to trust when you've known so many dogs. I think it also makes your 'cheater sensor' go on extra-sensitive.

I like that name a lot! And I like how you came up with it.

Today, I am full of smiles and cheer! when I got into my office this morning it is beautifully decorated , they are having a luncheon for me since today will be my last day through sometime next week and a Bride tiara to wear all day.

Aww, that's so nice! I wish I worked in an office like that. I'm the only woman other than custodians in our unit & guys don't do that kind of stuff so it sucks to be me.

Yeah I can understand that My2...its tough cause the babies/children are innocent you know? Not all Baby Mamas/Baby Daddies are shot out but some of them do not have the best intentions and use the children for their own personal agendas and that's so not right!

 For sure! I also know that my husband is nicer than most guys & easier to take advantage of & I have suspicions his baby mama figured he'd be the easiest person to pin it on & be able to strong arm $$ from him.

Slimfast is what's poppin at the moment :dead:

 I know that's not what you really want but it's just funny how you said it!

Ells (((hugs))) yes once put into perspective it seems overwhelming I know but if it happens it will be a blessing. I'm glad he is focused and on track regarding his goals and I know he has you to thank for that!

LOL @ succumbed to the baked goods voices!

Well, if it happens, it will be a miracle cause those little buggers will have swam through the strainer! But right now, getting his education is the most important thing he is trying to do & he's very into it now!

i think you mean to say Big mama! We good. We had one of our baby showers on sunday and it was so nice. The hostess asked everyone to bring their favorite childrens book so we got an instant library. we also got 2 car seats, a double stroller, bouncy seats, a ton of clothes, and a bunch of other stuff.

both hubby and my son were sitting there like omg......at amazement at the bounty of gifts and also at how much everyone was into it.

my friends knew i got the pink monkey bedding so they had the stroller and car seats set up and had bought pink monkey stuffed animals and strapped them in and wheeled the stroller in.....it was too cute!

Sounds great!

4 days til the wedding?? that was fast. don't yuh wan mek sure yuh can put up wi di man first??

 Heck, 3 months isn't even enough time. After about 6 months is when you really start to learn about each other, warts & all! So with these cases, you just sort of have to jump in with both feet!

I'm going to argue this one, Ells. If he's considered her his for 9 years, there are going to be some issues telling a child that old that isn't her father. I don't think I'd test that one. Doesn't sound like there would be a problem bringing her to the US as she's away from her mother now. Am I right?

The main problem is us not being able to raise her properly. We can't even afford a big enough place to have a room for her. I wish I could bring her here on the K-2 but it's approaching so fast & it's so complicated with her being on another island & in school that I just don't know how we could manage it. We'd have to find a new, bigger (& MUCH more expensive place) on my salary in just a few months & file for her. Only a miracle would make that happen & I don't foresee any good job prospects any time soon. All that aside, I'd still want to know. Her Mom is shady & has 2 more kids from different guys so she's just looking for handouts wherever she can get them & she did a lot of bullying of hubby to take the meager $$ he earned. Here's where I get HOT! Instead of breathing down his neck when work was slow & threatening to take him to court, she could've left him alone so he was able to start getting his education in JA. The dumb ####### screwed herself because it's gonna be a looooong time before he can work here since he's learning to read now. If she'd let him get started there, maybe he would've been in a better position to come here & start working & taking the test to get a driver's license. No matter, his Mom has his daughter so she gets NOTHING even when he does start to work!

Was it me? Or where there way too many ugly men in their underwear in a lot of super bowl ads?

YES!

No, it sounds like she is overwhelmed by the entire process coupled with what obstacles there are to now overcome. And, if in the end, I found out the child he thought was his and supported.....and, now I was helping support till he could get through his education and find a decent job...well, if I found out it wasn't his and he was used all those years....I just might have the same thoughts.

All she said was "well, I don't know." That's a fair response to those thoughts. She did not commit either way. It didn't sound like anything but someone not sure of how she would respond. I would feel the same way.

Thank you! And I'm glad you understand. I realize we aren't the only couple facing huge obstacles but, it's 10 times harder when your partner doesn't have the education/skills to land a job or get a driver's license when they get here. Not to say he can't get a job, but he'll never get a decent one that can make ends meet in one of the most expensive cities in the U.S. We have a crappy, tiny azz apartment & pay nearly $1000 a month for it! If we want a 1 bedroom, we're looking at at least $1200 & if we want a 2 bedroom, it's around $1600+ a month. Impossible to do on a single crappy salary. Then to bring in a child, beyond impossible.

There is enough of a question as to who the real father is that I don't think I'm unreasonable in wanting to know for sure. My hubby is the kind that people will take advantage of his kindness. I'm not so much that way. And I'm also not willing to raise a child that isn't his biologically. I was set on 'no' for having kids before meeting him & it's only because he wants a child that I've compromised & agreed that we can try in the future. Seeing that I barely want one of my own, why would I want to adopt? It's not for everyone & I don't feel bad about being one of those people that isn't crazy about wanting children.

You are lucky you have twins on both side. I hope for twins, but doubt that is going to happen. I am getting very excited about having a pickney. Heck I was with a guy for like 8 years and he did the Linda Blair head turn on me...so you just have to step out there on faith. Bless all our hearts! My Grandmother always says..."it doesn't take all day to recognize sunshine" :star: When you feel something real you go for it!
