Hello. I'll have my interview in about 30 days and I was shock to read some of the questions that the CO asked to some of the VJ's members. For example:

"what has your wife done in her 29 years?" first. this is a none sense question and second the person here actually was 26 years old not 29 so they want you to FAIL!

This is way too much. I think an interview of this kind will required a preparation beyond an "Interview"

Do you think they will go easier on a IR visa interview?

I have been married to my wife for almost 4 years and we have a 19 months old baby but after reading some stories here I do not what to think anymore.

It's not so much 'the type' as it is 'what the ConOff read in the casefile PRIOR to Interview Day'.

So - any red flags in yer casefile?

If the ConOff finds some red flags that were not addressed in the casefile, then he/she will shift the tone of the questions, trying to find fraud , and evidence of fraud, and a smell of fraud.

Also, the Country of Interview is important, as well. Morocco, for example (and where you pulled YOUR example) is a high-fraud embassy, the ConOffs play a different (and legal) game there. That example you pulled was on a K-1, where the USC is FEMALE.

You might want to study the Columbia Embassy Review Section, try to get some idea of interviews done in Columbia these last 3 quarters.

Nota.Bene - Bringing Stuff on Interview Day is not the same as Stuff being IN the casefile (usually stuff is IN the casefile because you included it on initial submittal ). Many ppl see the 'evidence of bonafide marriage' section and not include much on initial submittal of the I-130.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

sometimes CO can make very intimate questions. Recently to a couple in Bogotá, he asked their daughter's DNA, and it was the 2nd interview :wow:
