Dear all,

I am a finace of an american citizen. Please let me know if my daughter age 18 can travel with a K2 on a later day (later than me) in order to finish school after the consulate aproves our Visa and how long later?

Where can I find info about it?

Best regards,

Yes, she may travel up to one year after your visa issue date or six months after her own visa issue date, whichever is sooner.

Actually if you timed it, the K-2 could be issued up to one year from the K-1 and then would have its own 6 mo. expiration date, so the total time could actually be near 18 months. To accomplish this of course requires some good planning and execution
