Hey Danu, just letting you know that I got my interview letter today! So, I guess you shall be receiving yours soon, too. My kids even got theirs, and their biometrics were taken on March 3. The notices are dated March 1. So, I guess that to set the interview they don't take into account the biometrics appt, just the date they received the AOS papers. The only bad thing is that there are 3 of us and 3 different interview dates. But all is well. :yes:

Congrats Celimar!!! :D doing Biometrics early pays off!

P.S. No update on EAD or AP either here. I can't wait to get the interview done... hehe your appointment is almost a week before mine! Let me know how it goes :)

lol. I keep randomly quizzing Wes on my birthday, hes soooo bad at remembering it.

haha! I was surprised at how Jim was with all my questions (birthday, parents' names, siblings' names, phone number, LOL). I was the one having trouble - with my phone number. Every time someone asks me what MY phone number is, I give them Jim's. LOLOLOL. The day before the interview, Jim kept repeating to me, "Your phone number is xxx-xxx-xxx" over and over and over and over again right until he had to leave for work...

Then right when we were in the waiting area for our interview, he turned to me and asked, "What color are your eyes?!" Oh I wanted to laugh out loud. He always says that he loves my eyes and he just checked to make sure that he had the right color (my eyes are such a dark brown that they're usually considered black - but on my military I.D., it says I have brown eyes which is more scientifically correct). ROFL!!!

Congrats on getting the approval of the EAD and the AP. Don't worry, Steph, the time will come faster than you know for your interview. I'm only a few days away and my husband keeps saying that he knows everything about me, that there's nothing to worry about. So, last night I asked him, "where did I grow up?" To which he replied, "La Vega". I said, "Noooo!!!! I grew up in Santo Domingo, I was only born in La Vega".... yep, I know, we are scr***d!

We got our text email acceptance info for the first NOA and the letter came within a week after this but for the last two weeks we have been trying to see the info on the USCIS website but it hasn't shown up says invalid/not known receipt number so we finally called. The woman I spoke with was so nice and she was explaining that thier system has had some issues recently and is telling many people the same thing but she verified our case number as correct and said it was a good case and they sent it to the officers in charge at the NVC so hopefully soon we will see the acceptance letter and the next round of information packets to fill out. Just wanted to let others know because we spent almost 35 minutes on hold... UGH but so worth it in the end...
