Does anyone know why VSC has not made any progress in processing NOA1's in the last three weeks?

It's because a year ago the CSC was way ahead of them in processing times. Then over the summer last year VSC caught fire and was ahead of the CSC, now they are in the penalty box for having processed too quickly and need to slow down to let the CSC catch up. Look up the historical records if you don't believe me.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

VSC is averaging 129 days (or around 4 months) NOA1 to NOA2 - for a Dec.01 NOA1 date, that means you can hopefully get adjudicated around the end of March or beginning of April.

That just makes my heart sink.. I am a Dec filer as well..

I thought I read somewhere else on VJ that they work in cycles and do K1s for a while, then K3s, then IRs?? I think it was in Gary and Alla's chat with the VSC director that they also said they sent petitions to CSC from VSC and back and forth depending on load. According to the timeline charts on VJ, VSC and CSC are now almost dead even on K1s.....soooo maybe they just slowed down to let CSC catch up... :o

Our lawyer maintains that he sent our 129F / K1 on January 10. We contacted him last week as we still had no NOA1. He said that they had cashed the cheque, so it should arrive in a couple of days. The mail just came and still no NOA1. The average time is 9 days. We're over a month now. Has anyone else experienced this?
