I am not a fan of Willie but I like him for sympathizing to a contestant who shows talent and sincerity. Isnt it comedians are making fun of themselves just to earn money? Isnt it some are showing their flesh for money? Isnt it that some risked their lives to earn for money? I dont see anything wrong if the contestants show whatever they can to get extra cash. Is it disgusting to make a humble living like the contestants to wowowee? P5,000 is big money for a poor filipino. To exert more effort just to earn an extra cash is a big help. If I will be lucky to become one of the contestants to wowowee, I will give my best shot not just for an extra cash but for a greater opportunity because wowowee is aired internationally.

Willie sympathizes with the contestants? Are you sure? Celebrities are there for their "acting prowess." Besides, what the contestants do is not out of humility. If they found other ways of earning, I'm certain they wouldn't subject themselves to ridicule in front of millions just for a few thousand pesos. Pride is different from dignity or self-esteem. Do you know what your words mean? You don't mind if people strip to earn money or sell themselves short for a little amount just to survive.
