Timeline

my wife is a legal resident in the u.s,june 2010 will be 3yrs she filled for me ,recieved a mail from uscis in jan 2010 asking for r.f.e and the lawyer has received it and was just to resend her biodata which was initialy sent years ago.

the r.f.e will be sent in 2weeks time from now.can someone tell me how long in total will i wait to get the final package for my interview in lagos?

av been going through vj for 1 year plus now but just joined today and i must comend every member for their infos which has helped so many people and hope to be one of them soon.

please need to know how many months to wait cos i need to be with my wife as soon this year by his GRACE .

As the spouse of a green card holder, you are priority 2A. According to the USCIS, they are currently processing visa petitions from March 2006, so if your wife filed for you in June 2007, you have approximately another year and three months wait:

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

please i need to know again how it works.

when i checked my processing time with nsc it shows 5months.

how does this work and is it that it will may be through this year bcos i was made to realise that they are fast about treating petitions now.
