Very sorry to hear about this.

The problem with waiting until it's too late is that... it's too late.

You don't have to be obsessive-compulsive to suffer this consequence. It happens to many average people.

Your desire to fix yourself has to be for yourself because regardless of whether you live with him - you have to live with yourself.

I hope the best for you - knowing the problem and "owning" it is a huge step in the right direction so that is a very good thing despite the awful feelings.
