Calling all Iranians!!!

Hello Everyone,

My soon to be amazing daughter-in-law will be going to dubai before long, and I wanted to see if any of you have any advice or tips for the interview. I will greatly appreciate anything that any of you have to offer. This is a wonderful young couple and with your help these two individuals that want nothing more than to be together can finally be once and for all.

I met many Iranian people there who were so friendly and happy. They talk to you in such a friendly way as if you have been friends for a long time and in twinkle of an eye all the butterflies in my stomach flew away and the nightmare turned to a happy day. Even the guard at the gate was friendly because I walked from my hotel which was pretty close to the embassy to explore the area a day before and he recalled my face once he saw me. It was cool!

The guy who first called me to take my documents was an Indian guy and the lady who interviewed me was a black Americal lady who was so kind and professional. She didn't ask many questions. She just asked my name and if we have ever met before and just glanced at only one of the photos in my photo album and then gave that back to me. She asked for nothing else. I had 500 emails, 200 faxes, 400 pages of our Yahoo chat record, 100 letters and postcards but she looked at none of them at all. I even told her that I had so many evidences with me, she just turned her face to take a look and said, "oh good"! It took only 5 minutes. But we waited for 2 hours.

Tell her to be cool and do not panic at all. They already know what they have to tell her and she is there just to show she is real. ALSO tell her to take a jacket with her. It was cold in there! It felt like air conditions were spraying ice!

From everything I've read it does sound like thier process is in place before they even see you or your evidence. It's really a shame that so much time, effort, and money is put into a process only to be left in the dark and not able to make the most important plans of your life.

Please keep me posted on your process, I think of you all the time.
