Sudhir, hope you are kidding about postponing the interview. They sent my wife a packer 3 (three) with a DS230 Part I to send back (yes, for a K3 visa).

I don't know -- someone is screwed-up at the New Delhi consulate.

but i hadmade a public announcement previously

hes got his medical in madras on friday aug 4,

and the interview on tuesday aug 8th.

i am SO nervous.

even better, aug 23 will be our 3 year anniversary.

hope its my lucky day,u know what i have stopped stressing about this visa ######,if it comes it comes if it dont it dont,i know me and wife will be together.BOTTOM LINE. :P

I really dont know why we have been under AP for 11 1/2 months. My guess is my husbands name is too common. we both have been interviewed and my husbands family has been interviewed 2 times. I wish they hurry up and grant us the visa. I dont know what else they want. :( I hope good news comes our way. (F)

i think i am all ready with the paper work involved in this k3 process.now the countdown begins..

Oh man -- that really sucks -- to be at the mercy of some courier who has your future in your hands. Some courier service, eh? Hang in there buddy -- it's almost there. I am think maybe I should ask my wife to pick up the passport from the courier office herself...

How do you all send paperwork to India? Which is most reliable? Fed Ex, UPS, DHL? I know in India I prefer Blue Dart but how to get the papers to India?

Also, what if the zipcode you are sending papers to isn't serviced by Fed Ex or the like?

I send by our normal postoffice useing global priority mail it arrives at his house in 4-6 business days good luck on your chooseing

Likwise -- I use good ol USPS Global Express/Priority mail and it gets there just fine. My wife lives in rural Himachal Pradesh and it still gets there in about 6 days. You can track it until Delhi just fine over the internet.

2006-07-19: Pay IV bill (was out on vacation)

2006-07-31: Sent in self-generated DS-230 (after NVC was ready)

2006-08-03: Case being reviewed by NVC (per operator)

2006-09-12: Case sent to New Delhi Consulate

2006-10-04: Emailed Consulate and got Original Interview Date (10/20/06) posponed to April 2007
