Gin-swilling housewife thread, Share your household tips

First of all, at some point, she's gonna pass out. Make sure she has a soft spot to land.

Second of all, at some point, she's gonna vomit on the floor. Clean it up after she's passed out, not before - as she'll get in the way whilst yer cleaning.

Thirdly, try not to be around when she starts drinking. Try to be there about 4 hours later, so you can quickly, humanely, and efficiently take care of her effluence(s).

For glass coffee carafes with BURNT ON COFFEE inside - let the carafe cool down. Put in some ice cubes, then swirl the cubes by holding the handle, move it back and forth till the ice starts moving in a circle. Do this repeatedly until the coffee chunks are gone.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

If you're over 30 and can still manage to go to work the next day, I commend you.

It is indeed true that the 30s (and up) hangover is something else entirely.

That is when you phone in at midnight, trying to sound sober, saying you are deathly ill and can't make it to work the next day :D

Mostly because you are too drunk to figure out how the stupid alarm clock works.
