Yes he is. Did you interview Monday?

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart; so much that you are willing to give your life for your loved one, time and distance takes a backseat. Only love prevails. And with love in your hearts you can overcome anything.

Yes he is. Was your interview Monday the 8th? If so that was him. I really love him too and hope someday he could come home. I'm still praying. The CO is asking him for the paperwork they gave him at the border , and she will make a decision. He sent the paperwork in on the same day, and they recieved it yesterday. I don't know how long it will take to process it with a reply. Just waiting to hear some good news from them.

Monday was a bad day for interviews, they asked for more information from me to. Why dont you contact the washington visa centre and ask them exactly what is required, they are VERY helpful there, and have talked me through a lot of my panic moments. I wish you guys all the best though. He is such a nice man, and clearly adores you. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers while you struggle through this.

:)

Invictus..

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

You really made my day. I got very emotional sitting at my desk at work. How do I contact the Washington visa centre?

mstangie,

You never mentioned, what documents did your Husband have with him at the interview to show his status/entry in to Canada - did he take anything? Did he send anything like that to NVC?

And I think he means the Department of State - to call:

DOS phone number 202 663 1225

Trailmix he did not bring that document they gave him at the border to the interview he did not know he needed it, but he has sent it in to them the very next day. Do you know how long it usually takes for US Constlate to process paperwork after the interview to give a decision?

I have seen from 2 to 4 weeks with people who had to submit domicile documents.

You know, that is probably all it is. It is absolutely a requirement that the beneficiary have proof of their Canadian status, to ensure Montreal can process the visa. Otherwise, really, anyone from any country could just pick and choose which consulate they wanted to interview at - so people would be flying to the phillipines all the time!

My Husband is a Canadian PR and he had to submit a copy of his card to NVC. I'm surprised they didn't ask your Husband for proof of status in Canada (at the NVC stage).

Anyway, all i'm saying is that it is a requirement that they view these documents and once they do you will probably be A-OK for the visa

Trailmix they never asked for his status in Canada in the NVC stage. So I hope this is all she needs to make her decision.

No, he's been in Montreal since May 08. Montreal would have been the only consulate.

What extra documents did they ask you for at the interview?

Did you go through NVC or did you direct consular file?

Sorry for my off-topic question but your remark made me curious.

Why would people be flying off to the Phils? Is processing time shorter there?
