It is all in the system, not your passport.

Yes it is all in the system but sometimes they really don't look in that deep, the passport is what makes them look deeper.. If it was all in the system why you think they have passports..!! Why couldn't we just have our greencard in hand???

Why do they tell you when you go for Green card or citizen ship to have ur passports..

Of course everything is in the system but they don't go into everything unless they see something suspcious

See what they do when you next go through.

one possibility might be that they are looking for entry/exit stamps to countries suspected of hosting terrorist training camps? or a host of other reasons?

YMMV

I believe US entries/departures are in the system.... I am quite sure the airlines "share" departure information with the government because they do "swipe" your passport when you check in

YMMV

i know someone that works in the immigration and i asked him for the records. departure dates wont appear on the immigration system.. they even ask you to answer honestly if you file for naturalization on how much days you spend outside of US coz they dont know but they can detect if you were lying or telling the truth.... ARRIVAL is what they have in their system that's why they asked how long you were gone.

maybe, it would be best if I'LL JUST STAY AND WAIT TILL MY HUSBAND COMES AND JUST NOT TO GO AND VISIT to be safe.... my priority date is JULY 27, 2007... i still have a year then.

but then, i did renew my greencard last June right after i got back and of course for renewing, it will go through so much checks, processings, and all that but it went great.. no hassle at all... if my staying in the Philippines for 11months was against any of their rules then they could have said something while im trying to renew my card.....but no... it went smoothly and on time.

Why i am concerned is because I go to my country every 6 - 7 months stay there for atleast 5- 6 months is this going to delay my citizen ship

If you have been out of the US for more than 50% of the time in the past 5 years, you do not qualify to naturalize until you have a current 5 year period when you have been in the US for more than 50% of the time.

If you have any single absence for 181 days or more, you start over--even if you have a reentry permit.

hmm Interseting soo why doesn't it say that on the website.. Only thing saying is that you have to be within the states for 30 months.. So I don't know who gave you that info. Plus my lawyer never said anything about that.

Noone gave me that information. I got it from the published physical and continuous residence requirements for naturalization.
