I received a letter reporting that my case has been transfered to Taxes. When it was in Vermont. I called them and put in a report to see what's going on. I recieved another letter saying

" on 1/27/2010 you contacted us. Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to preform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not recevie a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, pleasecall customer service".

has this happened to anyone?? I applied for i130 for spouse on march 2007 : (

Did you receive a NOA1 for your I-130? And when you did, did you submit the I-129F for your K3?

Please could you update your timeline to show your status as applying for a K-3, if this is indeed what you are applying for and not an IR-1?

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Citizenship mailed - ceremony: 9 February - 7 June 2017

probably they transfered the i130 to Texas for approval since Vermont is a very slow center. It has almost been 3 years since you filed for her, the i130 soon should be approved and sent to the NVC if there isn't any problems.

an LPR applying for I-130 for spouse has some extra delays in it.

'Got a eac number in march 15,07' - that was the NOA-1 for the I-130 petition, in the form of a 797-C letter.

IF I understand you, you do not have an NOA-2 (notice of approval ) yet.

It's gonna be some time, but since you have some movement, and it's been a while, MAYBE it's gonna get approved soon?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes, I haven't recieved a NOA-2 yet.. Hopefully, i just want this whole process to be done with.. It's very hard considering the fact that people that applied after me have a NOA-2 and I only have NOA-1.

You are classified as Family Preference Category 2A (spouse & children of a resident)... According to the latest visa bulletin they are processing petitions for April 2006 at NVC. Based on your preference date you have some time yet to wait so the USCIS is not in a hurry to get to your petition because even if they did approved it, then it will wait some more at NVC

The visa bulletin is published each month... Between Feb & March bulletin the processing dates moved 1 month. If that is an indication of how it proceeds then it could take another 18 - 24 to get to your date and to transit NVC processing.

Same amount of time for the i130 see i was engaged for 7 yrs before i got married. I had nothing only permission to stay in the usa through workers permant. Then I applied for Green Card in December of 06 and March of 07 I got the NOA-1 for i130. So the difference is a matter of 3 to 4 months. This has been my life for the past 10 yrs so its a little fustrating if you get what I am saying.
