Hello AssalamAlaikum,

My Father and Mother was called for interview at US Embassy on 12th of Feb 2009.It was told to my father that your case is going under administrative process.We will contact u in 6 months time but the time vary on each case.Now it has been a year almost since we are waiting.My father is 70 years old man he has a beard just for this purpose these people are delaying his visa issuance.If i send an email to them they hardly reply and in 12 replies in last 12 months they only wrote that the case is still under administrative process.My sister was the petitioner of my Father and Mother's petition and i dont know much about it but i know one thing that as they reach the USA they will gona get the Green card with in 4 weeks of time because when my mom who is houston now went to apply for social security card 12 days ago th lady told her that why are you making this when you are going to get your green card next Monday .You people have lots of information about your visa type but i dont know much about what tye of visa my sister applied for my father and mother either K1 K2 K or etc.I dont have exact information.

I need to ask Could i get some help from some department in US and how do i check the status of my father case that it is in which process.Like some of you wrote this...completed that completed abc underprocess.

Please help me out i will be thankful to all of you.In addition i want to know that how can i check the process of my Father that around which process his case is undergoing with.

Thats very long AP, but realy no ones knows if AP will be shorter or longer. My parents also have their interview no long ago and CO only asked few ques to my Dad. At end he just returned the passport and said case under Ap, once finish will call to submit passports.

If your sister is in USA, she can call DOS (Department of State) @ 202-663-1225

Thank you all for ur advices.

Could anybody tell me the email address and the fax number of DOS.Furthermore,as a beneficiary do they respond me if i send them a fax or an email.I tried to call thrice but unable to connect with the operator from Pakistan.

Please help me if you can i will be thankful to you people

Exactly how are you the beneficiary? Petitioner = your sister - beneficiaries = your parents. You're not in the picture unless your sister sent in a petition for you too - another I-130.
