Last evening I was told since I have not filed for my wife CR-1 visa I could apply for a B-2(?) Visa for her to vist here. Is this feasible? How long does a visa like this take to process. My thinking is once she comes here for a visit we could go ahead and file before she returns to China.

So, the two of you are actually married? If so, she will have to state that on her application, which will raise a red flag suspicion of intent to immigrate and probably kill the whole B-2 possibility. I know of folks who have met while on a B-2 or filed for B-2 as a non-engaged couple, but I don't know of anyone who has done this while actually married. I think you might run into a denial, but maybe some more sage experience will chime in with an actual case of the same situation. It is times like these that I wish my fiancee was from Canada...haha...the time between visits and getting her here is a killer. Good Luck!
