hi everyonne... a couple of questions, just to clear my head. I am helping my neighbor fill out his N-400 application, i downloaded it from the uscis website, and at the top it says expires in 12/31/09.. i am worried that if he sends it, they will refuse to accept it. any advice?

and the last one, in part 7, it asks you to write down all trips you have taken to outside the United States. He goes out to Tijuana, Mexico (He lives in San Diego) once a week to visit his wife and son. Is he supposed to put all the trips he has taken down there since 2002? its confusing. Then there would be 52 trips each year? from 2002-2010?

thanks lots....

gosh... that seems like alot of writing... what about the application? do you guys think theyd accept it? thanks danijela+miroslav

It's not a problem. if you look at the "edition date" on the main page (where you download the .pdf from) it lists a lot of previous editions. So don't worry about it.

if you're concerned, give the form request number a call and leave them a msg, or talk to the person and tell them the form has expired.

Although the expiration date says 12/31/09 but the revision is still accepted.

The other thing, the definition of travel is being for entire days outside the US. They have a definition regarding how to count days... I will look it up and post it again if I find it.

Any trip in duration of 24 hrs or more is to be listed.

You'll probably need to add a sheet of paper with the information, don't forget to put his A# in the corner of the page.

That's correct. I actually realized that I read it in the instructions so yes, trips that lasted more than 24 hours.
