May have been married for six years, but the OP implies he didn't have his green card for that long by having to wait the additional time he would have it for five years. That can also be a problem as he has to report his first application was denied.

You have to learn how to use the word proof instead of prove. With our friends that didn't pass their interview due to so-called lack of evidence, they were told what they needed to comply. Didn't they tell you what you were lacking? Exactly what did your wife say, and when, certainly not during your USC interview, they wouldn't let her in.

If you are looking for suggestions, have to be more precise.

Hi - you are a LPR now. There is nothing to worry about except for the fact that you need to pay the fees again. Yes, you can take it again and again, if you have deep pockets.

First thing, tell your wife not to worry - if you passed Adjustment of Status, and passed your Removal of Conditions, then you are at the easiest step of all. One good thing to do is not only review the 100 questions, but also go over the application you mail in because that is WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING AT DURING THE INTERVIEW.

So just relax and take a breath.

Now, for us to be able to help you better, as others have requested, can you please provide more details on your timeline and actual interview you are talking about.

Thanks soo much for evrey one answer me yes iam married for 6 years and ihave my green card for 3 years and 6 months ....the officer ask me that question of us was concerning our intimate relations, ,,,

when was the last time we had sex. I answered it had been 2 weeks, but my wife answered it had been 4 days ago. This question was highly inappropriate

She also wanted to know why we did not have any children together. the interviewer, asked questions that we found out later from a lawyer that would not necessarily keep me from my citizenship. I have been married for 6 years...

now iam thinking what iwill do if they stell deniad my hearing n 336 ??

and when can i pllay for u citizen again??

i feel I was treated unfairly in my interview to obtain my US Citizenship.

Did they separate you and your wife for your citizenship interview and also ask you guys same questions to verify if your marriage is legit?

I am really sorry about your case. Some IO can be complicated. Did you have an interview also for the removal of condition? Did you send those documents together with the N400 application? What is your local disctrict office?

Am I missing something here????

People go to their Citizensip Interview Alone, you don't have to bring your wife with you to the Citizenship interview?

Did they request that your wife come with you? when my uncle went to his interview, he brought his wife and they almost denied him because he was supposed to come alone!!!

Are you sure about this?

Sounds like that Sandra Bullocks' movie, The Proposal. If we didn't spend five years of our life dealing with the USCIS, may have thought it was funny, but certainly was a disservice to those not familiar with immigration.

I heard the opposite - I was told that if you are applying for citizenship in 3 years because of marriage, then your spouse is highly recommended to go with you...

Typical USCIS ####### that no one knows anything about anything. We should start dumping vicodin in their water supply so when we go for the interview, they are relaxed :innocent:

Hahaha, I could use a vicodin in my water cup before I go, I'll just smile for the whole time.

I applied after 3 years of PR status married to a US citizen and specifically asked if my husband could come to the interview with me. I got a very decided 'no'. It is strange indeed that they interviewed the couple together.

Jackson, it sounds like you have the normal type of proof - try to be creative and find other types of proof. See if your Post Office or mailman will write a letter that both of you have mail sent to your address. Do you pay household bills out of a joint bank account? Circle the bills or highlight them on a bank statement with both of your names on it. Show an account for the bank or a credit card that lists expenses made by both of you - and addressed to the same address. Do you belong to a church that you attend together? Perhaps the Religious leader of your church can write a letter that he knows you are living together in the same house. Do you have accounts at places like gyms or video stores or box stores like Costco? Memberships in both your names work. Get affidavits from your neighbours who know you both live at the same address. See if your doctor will verify you are both listed at the same address on medical records. Do you have dry-cleaning bills that show men's and women's clothing listed on the same bill at the same address or phone number?

In 6 years - 3 and a half as a Permanent Resident - you can gather a lot of 'other' evidence that you don't think of right away that show you live in the same house. I am also curious - when did they tell you they would interview both of you? Was it before or at the time of the interview? Do you have any idea why they suspected you didn't live together before they interviewed the two of you?

You might want to clarify with your wife what she means by sex. Maybe you mean full intercourse but she also includes cuddling as sexual and that might explain her answer. Try to find the reasons for the discrepancies and then explain them as best you can.

There's something Fishy about this..

And Nope the P/R (Green card holder) is the only one who has to attend the interveiw..

Now if they ask for the spouse to be there before interveiw then uscis feels there is something to follow up.

You said that the I.O ask...when was the last time you had sex. you answered it had been 2 weeks, but your wife answered it had been 4 days ago. you said this question was highly inappropriate..well "maybe" so but at the same time, he caught you out huh  ...there is a big difference with 4 days and 2wks huh?

Like i said there is more to this, than the OP is letting on here i feel.
