what docs are needed for AOS from the beneficiary's country?

Hi everybody,

I just got my K1 Visa, and in about 1 and 1/2 month I will go to the USA to

marry my soulmate, but since I'm still here in my country I was wondering what

document are needed from my country when I'm there in USA.

I guess probably my birth certificate with related translation in english is needed

(my birth certificate is already an international version with the english translation in it,

so probably the separate translation is not needed, right?), and what else is needed?

The police certificate again in original? Some other document from my country?

You should download a copy of the I-485 form from the USCIS govt site. The instructions will tell you all that has to be submitted with the application.

My wife had a B/C from Spain that also had all the European language (including English). She still got a RFE for it and I had to provide a translated copy for her.

Good move to come here and ask this question.

You need a copy of your DS 2025 immunization record from the medical. If you don't have a copy alread then you should be given it at the airport ( POE ).

Look carefully at the I 94 when you are at the POE. Make sure it is correct and gaurd it with your life. It is a cheesy little piece of paper that is very important. Also don't lose the NOA2 that your fiance got from USCIS. It comes into play down the road. If you go through JFK ask for and EAD stamp in your passport.
