90 days before the expiration of your conditional green card, you need to file for Removing Conditions, check out the guide here:

You posted this in the correct place..

Your next step will involve Removing/Lifting of conditions (the 2-year condition on your PR/Green Card status). You can file this as soon as 90-days before your current PR/Green Card expires, up to the day it expires. (It wouldn't hurt to look over the Lifting of Conditions Guide to at least become familiar with some of the evidence you'll need when the time comes - in many areas, you can plan ahead so you're prepared.)

Other than that - enjoy your new life together.

This is the correct forum. We all were ignorant at that stage when we just received our 2 year GC, so it is good you are looking into it this early so you don't have any trouble later on.

You will have to file I-751 within the final 90 days before your CGC expires. Make sure you don't send it a day earlier than 90 days before expiration. At least USCIS doesn't receive it earlier than 90 days.

When you file I-751, you will have to provide evidence of your marriage. Therefore, make sure you keep record of evidence that contains both names (you and your spouse) on them. Here is a list that is very important.

1. File tax returns jointly - keep records.

2. Utility bills should have both names on them - electric, water, insurance, cellphone, cable, home phone (anything applicable in this category).

3. Home/Apartment Leases/mortgages with both your names.

4. Bank accounts - savings, checking

5. Medical insurance coverage

6. 401k retirement plans showing spouse as beneficiary

7. Life insurance showing each spouse as beneficiary

8. Car loans (if applicable) and car insurance showing both names as insured on the vehicles.

9. Driver's license showing same address

10. If you have children together, send in copy(ies) of birth certificates.

11. Credit card statements with both names as users.

This list hits the top desired by USCIS during your application's review. You may provide additional evidence if you feel it will be helpful like pictures of trips and the itineraries of the trips. If you read the instructions, you will have a sample list done by USCIS as a suggestion.

Just a final comment - if you have all your bills as electronic statements, then make sure you create a few backups in case. If you still receive paper statements, make sure you have them in a safe location that you won't lose. When you are two years away, you will find them handy and quickly be able to put together your evidence.

Hope this helps!
