That's what NVC will tell you. We got our interview letter on March 27th which scheduled our Montreal interview on May 26th

So obviously the scheduling interviews in the first two weeks of the month wasn't the case for us

Good luck.

100% true.

So if my case is completed between now and February 25 ,than i think my interview will be scheduled in first two week on March, will that mean my interview will be by April 15?

And just to be know embassy here in Sarajevo ( Bosnia and Herzegovina) is not so busy. Will this have any effect on my wife date of interview?I mean will this be faster for us?

100% true.

Not so! Like canadian_wife our interview was also scheduled the last week of the month!

Interview dates are consulate dependent. In our particular case the Montreal consulate is fairy busy. We waited 3 months following NVC completion to our interview date. Some recent filers have waited as long as 4 - 5 months. If your consulate is not a particularly busy one you may get a date for the following month but nothing is guaranteed. Good luck.

You are correct. We have been waiting since December 17. And couldnt get an interview for March either. According to Congress Woman we will have it by April.

My case was finished in september, and i only just had my interview on the 8th of feb... I know thats frustrating to hear... but dont start packing just yet :)

Invictus..

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

Embassy in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina is not busy at all, i think is only one month waiting period, just so long time do we finish medical exam and collect paperwork (if needed).

After having called the NVC and asking this very same question, I got that the NVC does schedule for SOME Embassies/Consulates.

In my case, Ciudad Juarez, the NVC did schedule my interview and we got the e-mail yesterday (February 10, 2010, the second week of the month) for our interview on March 4, 2010. Our Case was completed on January 27, 2010.

I would suggest calling the NVC and asking them directly.

Good luck!

Hmmm - the consulate received our NVC on Feb 1, but still haven't heard anything about an interview date. So hard to be patient!! Is there anything we can do to find out the status, or try to hurry things along?
