Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! So awesome! Can't wait to have you and your family stateside! And thank you for the compliments! Two of my bride's men (all the groomsmen except the best man were my friends cos Peter's friends couldn't make it, but it worked out!) wore funky belt buckles.. one Hello Kitty and one Nintendo buckle. They did ask me if it was okay and I said of course. As you can tell from the pictures, I wasn't all about tradition and I wanted to have as much fun and laughter as I possibly could.

I've been a little, no a lot quiet here lately. I know that makes y'all happy. Let's just say the past three weeks have been busy, hectic, stressful, adventurous, and downright humbling. It has been way more difficult then I expected and I knew I was in for a lot. My house has never looked better, scrubbed from one end to the other, remodeled for the most part. I am glad Veka seems to be finished with all of her big ideas, except new cabinets in the kitchen. When I told her to make my house how she wanted it, I did not think she would grab the bull by the horns and go like she did. My mistake, but it is done. The good news is she is happy as she could be, and has settled in and is very comfortable. I was honestly thinking taking things with baby steps, nope, not her. She jumped into the deep end. Every time she opened her mouth it cost me more money. She is set up with Skype on her new laptop, she has been talking to her family, so have I, but most importantly she is now relaxed and calm. She now tells me multiple times on the phone and in person how much she likes "her house, room, furniture, etc." That makes me happy. Trust me, when she is happy she passes it on.

Ran into one problem yesterday. We went to have her take her test for her learners permit to start taking driving classes. As we all know, a K-1's visa is only good for 90 days, hence the experation date on the I-94. The lady at the DMV would not let her take the test, because according to her, the computer for the state of NC will not let them set an expiration date for less then 90 days. We were basically told we would have to get married, adjust status, and get her two year card. Well, Veka told the lady something in Russian that I am sure what not very nice. I know the lady figured out that it was not very nice either. Our next move on Monday will be to go to a different drivers liscence office and see if we can't slip through the cracks.Veka wants to drive badly, because I live in a village(a subdivision), and shopping for food and other things is about 3 miles away. Over dinner last night we talked a lot about when we are getting married. Might not happen now in Vegas or on the beach. We might just do a justice of the peace, quick, painless, and not romantic. She wants to become fully acclimated here quickly and start working. She is just grasping everything quickly and wants to "settle in her new life here." We are moving faster then I thought, but all in a good way.

I'm taking her to gun range in a few minutes. She is nervous about all of my assault weapons, but wants to learn how to shoot. Also, she does not understand how I have an AK-47. It ought to be interesting to see if she likes it. I will start her out on the AR-15 and work up to the less forgiving weapons.

My neighbors, friends, and family have also been very helpful. This afternoon will be her first big party to attend. Veka seems to have no problems making friends.

Have a great weekend folks. I am still pulling for those few people without approvals or interview dates. Also, good luck to Leslie and Solmarc on interviews. Good POE's to those still left to come. Literally, Veka's was laughable.

WOW, I think this was my first ever clean post. Y'all know I must be busy and tired to not take it to the gutter. I will step my game up. Sorry to disappoint.

Oh and Kharv i like weapons, probably cause ive been surrounded by them, my stepdad and bros are in the army

Not being negative but i have somebody in the Inposdom (our postal) and she said she didn't received it, to call the embassy, after paying eight dollars for the call they said to call back on the 2nd, that means another eight dollars, and probably to wait another week.

I am really tired of the waiting of that, i want to finish with the medical, have that interview and wait more weeks for my passport with my visa arrived, as i see it in this Country they work dif than others... unfortunately.

Then I go inside and show them the pictures that scared VSC. That should get them motivated. Then you will find me naked in Punta Canna, on the beach, with a good cigar, a bottle of rum in one hand and an El Presidente in the other. The tall blonde cussing at me in Russian would be Veka. If I pass out drag me up under the palms. I don't need certain things sunburned. I do use sunscreen, but I might have rubbed it off. Now I'm back to being crude.

UK should be stateside now. I know she is busy.

I am calm a bit but not happy, i am trying to think on other things like doing my bachelorette party... tequila serving, dancing and in my case no strippers, it sounds boring but i dont feel comfortable (everybody is surprise been me is something nobody expected, that i was not into any strippers in my party)...

My mom is visiting and is excellent cause she cooks but she starts in the morning yelling until i leave but i love her anyway...lol.

The children traveled so well, the POE wasnt bad at all....just a case of sitting in a room and waiting for them to do the paper work. So all in all....it was veryyyyy straight forward.

The children have settled in already I think....the house is a mess...we are still busy packing but other than that all is weel and I have my man forever more.....its like a dream at the moment really. I went to bed wrapped in his arms...children tucked into their new beds...asleep....with my dog laid at the side of me...listening to the crickets....very surreal. I fell asleep a very happy and lucky woman.

Thanks everyone....Kirk your posts have made me giggle alot...Im scared of Veka and havent even met her lol....so funny thinking of you being yelled at in Russian....one is very amused lol.
