well it's been awhile. i lost or well, forgot my login/pw. hope all is well. still nothing signifying that our P3 has been rec'd/logged. we sent it out July 12th and it should have been received by July 14th. it's not nearly a month later with no word. i hate that Montreal takes forever to get stuff done. it's ridiculous how difficult they make it for Canadians. *sigh*

Paul and Van, i'm glad someone is finally stepping in to take ownership of the disaster that is your case file. i can only try to imagine how frustrated you both are.

Im still about, just soooooo busy. Had our hen party on Friday night...was tonz of fun...lots of male genitals and alchol and not a man in site....perfect lol.

The kids are bouncing of the wall with excitement...been tying up lose ends...finishing packing....and sorting out last minute things...Ken arrives early on Wednesday morning...I need him so bad I could cry...we havent touched each other since April....my heart aches sometimes. Going out to pick up some strong coffee for him ....hair cut for the boy tomorrow ready for the big day....he is going to look so handsome...ohhh going out underwear shopping tomorrow...last day without Ken here so really need to find something for under my dress......the interview is closly upon us and Im starting to fear the worse now and have nightmares of things going wrong...arhhhhhh. Im scared, tired, excited, horny lol and a whole lot more...Im like a chicken without a head....running about bumping into things....the children are even worse....they cant wait to see Daddy again

Hugs to one and all.....yes it is very quiet in here but thats good as well...it means everyone is very busy....either settling into their new lifes or preparing to start doing that....Im sure its not because they have forgotten about you We could never do that....I knew there would be alot to get done...but wow...theres ALOT to get done lol....including catching up with people...including the childrens friends. Alot of emotions involved to...but God I cant wait to see his face, kiss his lips and feel his touch....omg...heaven...which will be quickly dampened down by the interview lmao...oh well...deep breath and lets get this over with....Im detirmed we are walking out with an Approval....grinning all over and celebrating in our own way he he he.

I sure will pop in, hey I have to let you guys know how our interview has gone right? I say it is only one day till I see him...in my world it works like this.....today is over with here, nearly 7pm...so cant count today...just tomorrow as he will be here in the morning at 8.15...so in my world it is one day to wait lol. Works for me, Ken thinks my counting is funny lol. Thank you anyway...It has been easier being away from him this time as at least he is safe in the USA...it was terrible when he was deployed in Iraq...I hated that more but anyway all over very soon, with a whole lot of luck.

I hope you are this busy very soon....I look forward to reading that your stress levels are through the roof waiting for your interview lol.

kharkov - yeah, not a Soviet era store in sight here.

With a few exceptions, we didn't have much of a problem in finding most things in Belarus, but we were somewhat lucky in location to be close enough to an area with a Korona(obviously not spelled correctly), but the overwhelming difference for T still remains in the selection and choices we have in some items, followed of course by the prices; some good and some amazingly bad by comparison. Food of course, costs more here, as does decent wine, but some clothes were insanely priced in Belarus; I still recall the first time I saw a pair of $250USD+ Levis there.

The things we simply couldn't find were random - bath oils, decent candles, some cheeses, hot sauce and other sauces, some types of adventure or camping gear.

Things here we of course can't find - "normal" cottage cheese, some fish, some breads, some chocolates, kvas, kefir, and the types of almost falling down temporary stands selling random hardware kind of places.

Mostly, it's not a big deal; we tried some Breakstone's Sour Cream as a comparison, and T said it was fine, maybe even too thick (fat content). We're getting mostly organic fruits and some meats. There definitely isn't the selection of sausage/kielbasa here that there was in Belarus, but she loves sliced sandwich meat over the solid hunks of ham we would get usually in BY. Of course, she is surprised by some of the ####### US manufacturers put into some foods..

T is being pretty good on finances, making sure we need something if it's more than a few dollars for the most part, except on occasion when I can convince her otherwise. She loved the bath store, although so far, she has refrained from buying the place. We need to head out on a clothes spree soon, not at her insistence so much as mine so she has enough of a comfortable selection for her, and we need to figure out who is wearing what for the wedding as well, which is still a little ways off but will be here soon enough.

She is still adjusting to living full time in a house. She loves it during the days; we've got a few bird feeders and the yard is full of them, and we eat outside at least once a day. She's adjusted to the AC pretty well; it may help that I can control the humidity on mine, and it's not the first time she's been around it, at all, but a lot of them leave the air dried out (like many/most hotel conditioners, or the few we had in Minsk). I leave it at 76*F or 77*F over the usual 70*F or so, but it's fine, and will wind up saving us $ regardless. Living in a house at night, though, is still a change.

Well, we just got back from a nice trip, so back to work it is for a while..

I can't believe a few of you are still waiting. It is now approaching or past the time of 5 months with CIS, so you can all 'officially' start griping to CIS as well as the government at large, possibly/hopefully with some results!

Solmarc and Leslie, the donkey and midget have been sending me pictures. BAD GIRLS y'all are. They are getting some miles on them. Y'all have set new lows that even I could not think of. LOL. I'm still here.

UK, try not to scare your man too much once you have him behind closed doors. Start him out easy. I hope that he took some "batting practice." It helps. Just from experience.

SandT, where do I begin. Can't get good tea anywhere, few restaurants have hot green tea. Our cheese sucks. Sour cream is OK. Veka is happy with prices. She likes our beer. Bud Light, Miller Lite, Michelob, (in bottle of course), but our wines suck. Maybe I will buy her something with a cork in it instead of a screw top. Veka likes fajitas, mahi-mahi, salmon, steak, sushimi, and our lettuce salads. Funny about te oraganic vegetables. We went to the farmers market, immediately, our produce does not have good smell and she said "too many chemicals." Now we are buying organic, looks like #######, but better taste. She has done a little bit of shoe and clothes shopping, nails done, new blackberry so she can call her family on Skype every day.

Lohninck, glad to see the wedding went well and you are having fun. I won't be rude, but it is nice to see that you come up for air to post on here.

As for me and Veka. Well, a few bumps in the road that are funny after you look at them. She has a new laptop, some clothes shopping, but hers were top notch before she came. Just a few additions. She wants to start driving lessons now. Just what I wanted to do, buy a car now. Oh well. She is not driving my big diesel Ram. No way. I told her to make my house hers. Of course, my batchelor furniture was no good. "you make good money, why do you have sh*t." Friday, we about killed each other looking for furniture. To make a long story short, ended up with nothing. Tried again Sunday, found a bunch of stuff after a few hours of wanting to strangle each other, but we compromised. Went to the salesman, told him what we wanted, he came back with a price of over $500 more then the sticker. Well, that did not sit too well with me. A little confrontation with the manager, salesman, and Veka in Russian about the "bait and switch" on price. I am a salesman, I give one price, I do actually have ethics and morals, believe it or not. After me telling Veka in Russian that I refused to give my money to a business that does ####### like that, her telling me she really wanted it, and me telling the people at the store to shove their practices, I walked out feeling good about myself. That of course was until Veka sat down beside me. Rough ride home. This morning, I left before 8, went and scouted 5 more furniture stores, settled on 2. I picked Veka up at 12, took her to the first one. I had already warned them about our previous experience and if they wanted my nickel, they had a job to do. Well, we rolled in, they treated her like a queen, she spent two hours picking out what she wanted. I was happy with the prices, all fair, no BS markups. While finishing the order the salesman was good. He figured Veka out. He kept bringing up more things that she might want. Another hour later, another $1,500 later, I paid and left. I need to take lessons from him. I'm out 4 grand, but we got more things and better quality then the jerks on Sunday that kept adding markups. Veka is very happy, by the way. I am actually happy with what we got, I just hate spending money on anything but hunting and fishing.

I haven't abandoned you guys either! I've just been working full time again and I can't go on VJ on the work computer and once I get home I'm busy with family life, but I think about you guys all the time. I can't believe there's no interview dates, and worse yet, no NOA2s yet.. Jeezy Creezy, people. What is wrong with VSC/CSC? Do we have to rent a new midget?
