It doesn't sound crazy at all! I do the same thing and it's comforting to know that other people are in the same position!

While we're waiting for the NOA2, is anybody preparing things like police certificates, etc?

I've already sent away for and received my extended birth certificate. For the past 32yrs I've only ever had the small wallet-sized one. So got that. When I get back from my visit, I'll walk down to the Police station up the street and meet with some of my old College buddies that work there and get my CPIC record printed. I've already had a pre-medical with my family doctor and all looks good. Waiting for my teter tests to come back. Joey hasn't begun the affidavit or 2nd letter of intent yet, as by the looks of it we still have another 2mths to go before we even hear back from NOA2. I have a list of what to expect for packet 3, so it's just a matter of printing it out and sending it back to Montreal. Right now, we're just preparing to have Easter Weekend with his family in Jersey. It'll be nice to see his parents again (they love me more then him I think >.<), but we're surprising them. They don't know I'm down visiting again hehe

01/13/2010 - Visit to US and got Engaged (Home on Feb19)

02/22/2010 - Sent I-129F overnight USPS

02/23/2010 - Arrived at VSC, signed by D RENAUD

03/03/2010 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy

03/20/2010 - Visit to US for the summer

06/11/2010 - Received NOA2 Hardcopy (109 days)

06/28/2010 - Received Packet3

07/12/2010 - Sent Packet3 overnight to Montreal US Embassy

09/13/2010 - Packet4 received (61 days)

10/05/2010 - Medical in Toronto

10/26/2010 - Interview - APPROVED!

11/07/2010 - POE Lewiston

11/26/2010 - Married in New Jersey

Finally registered here after much reading before filing. I had a heck of a time getting the package out, as I was leaving the next day to go see T for a month, stayed up all night checking and re-checking, and at the last possible moment, realized Kinkos printed out the PDF forms I had sent to them using Acrobat Pro, which mangled some parts of the I129F and G325A. I caught it, had them re-print with Acrobat Reader instead (go figure), and then all was well.

NOA1: 2/22/10

It seems CSC is actually *approving* cases already, bizarre, but here's hoping for a smooth ride. We were both stressing out over the K1 package papers, now to try to find out what we can do in advance for her upcoming package(s?) in Warsaw. Good luck and god speed, all. :)

Mailed K1: Fedex to VSC Feb 19, 2010

NOA1: Feb 22

NOA2: May 17 (84 days, no touches, both SMS and email notice received a day later)

Rcvd at NVC: May 19

Sent on to Embassy: May 21 (in reality, May 24th)

Received at Embassy: May 26

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Packet 4 received: June 16 (emailed appointment date June 11)

interview: July 19th (Warsaw - APPROVED!!!)

POE: July 24th :)

DSWANN, I have unlimited data plan with my droid. It is like $30 a month. Vika called me today from work. It is all free, if you have unlimited data. Good connection again. I use the unlimited for internet and text. Try it out.

Roger that, I have the ATT plan. I have skype on it. Anna has one of those smart phones and skype on it. I have found that the bandwitdh is much to be derired here where i am at for video. In a extended stay looking for a home in Jacksonville Florida and trying to close out my home in Athens and the Visa happening all at the same time.lol, Life is busy!!!!!

How are you finding there have been 3 approvals already for VSC for Fed filers?

Via timeline searches, or is there a quicker way?
