Well folks ... As Kirk said, I'm finally done with the K Visa process!! K1 for Tanya and K2 for Masha! I wish everyone luck and smooth sailing through the interviews.

Leslie, I can't believe you took your hands away from your box and actually posted. Now you are neglecting your box. Don't think of us a leaving you, we are the advanced party to help guide you through the AOS process. I know this doesn't make you feel better. I feel a touch coming on. So I called last night and waited until someone got me through to an officer there at their generic 1-800 number and they were able to get a request sent in for me to try and figure out a status of the case.

Got a response here this morning already via e-mail. Says that the case is under review (duh) and there should be a decision/notice sent within 60 days....

So 60 damn more days possibly? ......

Nothing still for me, and sorry to be honest but my body is asking for something and is in NJ , the phone is not enough... I need another beer...lol.

Finally today the weather here is nice, raining a bit, wish i was home, but sure, i have to make money to buy beers and food for my kitty...

And talking about her, she is staring at me all the time, thank God she doesnt talk, cause she found me so drunk and trying to do a few steps that Khar told me to do (not working, or maybe i am not doing them well?), i step on her tail and now she gives me that look... should i stay alone with her? i think i am in real danger...

This Guys are sending me to Sept... not a nice thing to do, i am desesperate for some sugar... Still not saying anything about the interview, only they are working on it... bla bla bla

youve gone crazy girl today lol...so ive been stacking things up for ages...piles of things to leave with us to the US.....I cant bloody find my head wear...makeup and the jewelry I had put to oneside....I remember thinking...hummm I will put it here so Ken doesnt find when we are packing...lol...thats the last I can remember lol...dohhh I hope I find it all, Ive ripped the house to pieces today....still nothing...arghhhhhhhhhhh!! Thanks, girlie! I've been so nervous all day, had butterflies in my tummy, it's a combination of knowing I'll see Peter soon (hopefully!) and that the interview is within hours now.. I wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight or not since it will take place at 5 AM my time. Oof. Thankfully we've only heard good things from the Copenhagen Embassy so we're hoping we don't get a cranky interviewer for him!

Thanks, girlie! I've been so nervous all day, had butterflies in my tummy, it's a combination of knowing I'll see Peter soon (hopefully!) and that the interview is within hours now.. I wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight or not since it will take place at 5 AM my time. Oof. Really coming down to the line here, folks! Awwwwwwwwww, your son is so adorable! I hope I get to meet you all and your kids some day. Maybe even have kids of my own eventually? Haha! We'll have to set up some kind of VJ Feb Filer Family reunion type thing once we're all in the US, haha. Tell him I thank him for his thoughts, they worked out for us!

Apparently there was something that my step-dad's company (since it's his own they think he's self employed, but he's not, technically) was meant to fill out for the AOS that he didn't but the officer said it wouldn't be a problem because he's still very financially stable and they have enough evidence of this. So happy he got an interviewer in a good mood or else that could have been disastrous. The wedding is on the 24th, so that's why it's very tight.. he doesn't have any flights booked yet because we don't know when he'll have his passport back, he should have the visa in his passport on Monday, we think, so we're looking at Tuesday flights. Soooooooo close to the line.. his parents and brother will be here on Wednesday for goodness' sake.

I'm very relieved, I couldn't sleep at all, I woke up at 4:30 AM and at 5 AM just gave up tossing and turning and turned my laptop on and anxiously waited for Peter to email me with the news while watching YouTube videos, lol. It's 8:37 AM now and my eyes feel sooo heavy.. might try to get back to sleep.. can't wait until his visa is in his passport and we're good to finally book a flight and go!

The good touch rules only apply on US soil. They won't apply to me of course, as I will be in Kyiv within 72 hours. Lucky me.

Leslie and Solmarc, I am still hoping to hear good news about interview dates. That is BS that y'all are still waiting.

I will try to send a report from Kyiv, but we will be busy travelling all over. First Kyiv for medical and interview, then 300 miles to Kharkov, then 200 miles to her parents house, 200 back to Kharkov, and finally 300 back to Kyiv to fly out. I have a feeling that I will not want to see another bus, plane, or train after two weeks of this. They do serve beer and tea on the buses and trains. Guess what I'll be having.

I am not currently dancing for our group, but my hips are slowly gyrating. SEXY.

Solmarc, what you are doing to the donkey I believe is illegal in 36 states. LOL.
