This thread is finally breathing a little bit. Still, not much of a pulse. Good games last night to watch. Spent the evening at my buddies sports bar watching the games with friends. Had to get a ride home. Good night out with friends. Now time to load up the 4 wheeler, get more beer and head to hunt camp. Turkey season starts next Saturday and I need to get a line on where they are hanging. I called in 4 gobblers last year. I got one, my sons got two, and a friend killed the fourth. It will be tough to top last years success. We did see a lot during deer season. I just hope they did not move off to neighboring land.

Who is everybody pulling for in the tournament? I am going with Duke. Gotta stick with the ACC.

Timeline

I used to be a Front Desk rep at a large hotel chain, but I recently quit my job so that I could free up enough time to travel back and forth to visit Joey in the US. I've moved home with my parents to stay with them and put in as much time as I can before coming to the US permanently. Given that we cannot travel for our first year here, unless we submit forms to release us for travel. Right now, I'm at Joey's place in Maryland, visiting for a few weeks, maybe longer. It's helping us pass the time between NOA1 and NOA2 which we hope to hear back from in the next month or so.

Our Timeline:

11/26/1992 - Met in NYC (Drum & Bugle Corps) and dated for 2yrs

11/30/2009 - Reunited after 15yrs - Feb19 got engaged!

01/13/2010 - Visit to US and got Engaged (Home on Feb19)

02/22/2010 - Sent I-129F overnight USPS

02/23/2010 - Arrived at VSC, signed by D RENAUD

03/03/2010 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy

03/20/2010 - Visit to US for the summer

06/11/2010 - Received NOA2 Hardcopy (109 days)

06/28/2010 - Received Packet3

07/12/2010 - Sent Packet3 overnight to Montreal US Embassy

09/13/2010 - Packet4 received (61 days)

10/05/2010 - Medical in Toronto

10/26/2010 - Interview - APPROVED!

11/07/2010 - POE Lewiston

11/26/2010 - Married in New Jersey

Angel, welcome to the forums. That is good that you get to spend time with your man. Most of the rest of us should be jealous. I have to live with Skype, texts, and phone calls to pass the time. I have already made a list of things to get ready for the interview, but nothing to do for it until late May or June. Getting that stuff together is easy and painless. How many of us are travelling to go see our other before the interview? I am personally waiting for the interview and going to spend three weeks in Kyiv and Kharkov for that. Saving my time off for when Vika is here with me.

Good b-ball games today. Watching the tight one between Duke and Baylor right now.

Hope everyone has a good week this week and there are a lot of approvals. Let them dance.

I have made a list of what we need for the consulate. Vika has already printed out the forms she is resposible for. Kyiv rarely mails them. We are waiting for the ice, snow, and resulting water to dry up some before she goes after her police certificate. Kharkov can be a mess to get around this time of year. She is also applying for a new passport. She only has 5 years of validity left on hers. We figure it would be easier to do it there than to try to get a new one at the Ukrainian consulate here. It would be cutting it close on her citizenship and US passport with her having under 5 years left on hers. Better safe than stuck with a headache. I still have to do this years taxes. I will also get my bank to give me a letter stating the amount of money deposited into my account, have my accountant from work give a letter with my last three years income, and just take my 401k, roth ira, and other investments statements to the interview along with the I-134. It all looks painless and easy. I already have the addresses and phone numbers that we need. She has our pictures and it will only take me a minute to print out skype logs and a few letters. I am not going to sweat anything. The only hard part of all of this is the waiting. Well, back to the couch to wait on the NOA2. I am lucky. She is not being a pain in the butt. I told her patience will see us through to the finish line. I will be happy to do my dirty dance when the time comes. OH YES.

Hey, for those of us that use Skype to call and those of us who use Skype to video chat with our significant others, I've got good news. Verizion has a few phones out now that are Skype usable. A couple blackberry models and the droid. I bought the droid 3 weeks ago and Skype wasn't available yet. Well today, I was able to download Skype. I called Vika using Skype on her cell, gave her my Skype address. She went to her laptop, put on her headphones, what do you know, now she can talk to me no matter where I am at all day, for free. Wait, darn it, now she can keep track of me to make sure that I am being a good boy. I might have just shot myself in the foot with this one. LOL. Good thing is, anytime she is a work, we are talking for free. I did remind her about the seven hour time difference and that I need my beauty sleep, so not too early. I figured I would just throw this out there for those who use verizon and have the compatible phones.

This thread needs some CPR and a defibrulater. Let's start dancing.
