OMG...they really really where tough on him...woooow. He must be feeling pretty brain fried by now....poor guy. Thats one awful part of the visa appt that he must be pleased is over with. Are you over there with him?

I hope this is all over for the three of you soon and you can look forward to spending your happy life together. Stay strong and our thoughts, prayers and best wishes are definatly with you until this is over.....the day you have that well deserved visa lol. I hope its sorted quickly with the medical part, whatever it maybe....it seems so unfair sometimes that we have to prove our love to each other....I totally understand why its all done....but when your the ones doing it....it really feels unfair. Good luck again.

No thanks needed, we are all in this adventure together, just that we all find ourselves in such different situations and discover our own hurdles. I think this whole thing will make us all stronger in the our future relationships. We have had to battle (some more than others in your case) and prove our love for each other, we have helped each other as a couple...as families etc and as friends on here now too...they say...what doesnt kill you makes you stronger :)

I am sure he sees you and your beautiful baby as his rock as much as you see him as yours.....I bet you do want to go home!! Geesh its been a while and you guys will have been through alot in that time. Your soooo close now to this nightmare being over with....I have to admit that Ken always handles things well out of us two...I tend to panic and freat over everything...he always calms me down, bless him. Not sure how he puts up with me at times lol.

I'm glad the interview went so well. People, especially government officials, can be so cruel at times, but at least they can be beat.

Peter and I are just trying to find ways to waste time until the interview.. boooooriiiiiing.. I spoiled myself a little bit today and got some cute new skirts for the summer, since my favorite store had a 30% off clearance sale and I couldn't help myself. My hair came out awesome today, too! :dance:

I wonder if Nancy got her NOA2 yet. Haven't seen her around in a while. Does it bother anyone else that VSC seems to be really picking up the pace lately and approving people within, like, weeks? I'm sure people from years back had to wait even longer than the lot of us, but still.. just kiiiind of annoying, ya know?

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

I don´t even have a date for the interview, the waiting is painful, but nothing else to do, i am soooooooo nervous, just thinking about the medical ( i simply hate doctors), interview, because i honestly get so nervous i forget everything, i am really bad at getting test, i remember since school i´ve been like this.

But anyway, just enjoying the time here, making plans for the future and having as much time as i can with my friends, family and my kitty, she will stay because my Honey cant have animals in the apt... i am sad for that, she is sooo cute, she is a rescued pet and i feel guilty because the last owners left her behind when they move, i feel i am doing the same :( . Of course, my parents are animal lovers and they treat her really nice, but i am so attach to her...

PS. sooo happy that the interview when well even after all that questioning, wow, hope they don´t do something like that here, i will feel so violated, Jesus...

Damn.. have you asked your local congressman's immigration specialist about it? I know it's still within the posted timeline but that's just ridiculous now and a phonecall or letter wouldn't hurt. :(

Phew, I managed to get a part time management job for now.. it'll at least make my affidavit of support look a little bit better! And everyone always likes management experience. :dance:

I hope everyone has a nice weekend.. I'm going to Atlantic City to see Lady Gaga with my maid of honor. The traffic is going to be intense, but it should be fun. Anyone else got any plans? Donkeys or midgets, anyone?

We have been calling the DOS everyday to check if we have a interview date yet, after they told us that PK3 was all in order...we were just waiting on a date.

Our congressmans office emailed Ken last night to say they had checked with VSC to see how our case was doing (to remind everyone, we had gotton in touch with them whilst getting impatient waiting for the NOA2, which arrived a lickle time after the congressman got involved). We havent heard from the Congress since then, so it was a surprise to get the email from them yesterday....esp as it said that VSC told them that yesterday the US Embassy, London had sent out an interview appointment letter and our interview date is 13th August at 9am.

How funny eh?? But anyway....wooooo hoooooo we have an interview date, so hopefully the letter will arrive in this next week....we are looking into flights now and hotels for us to stay in at London Baby....how exciting...yeeeeeee harrrrr :)
