Unfortunately, today I came upon some bad news. My dad is 52 years old and he went to the doctors and they said he is already showing signs of early-onset alzheimers. I've never liked the guy that much but it kind of hurts to know that he might now know I'm his daughter if this gets worse. I was going to have my step-dad and grandfather and my dad walk me down the aisle, in a 3-part kind of thing, but I think I might keep it to just him now. I'm his only daughter so it would probably mean a lot. Oof. He's on medication now so I hope it gets better, but we'll see.

In a lighter mood, today, the 25th, is our 5 year anniversary, woo hoo! Peter and I have been waiting a long time for this and we really cannot wait for our wedding. On September 18th, 2005 he sent me a letter saying he knows one day this distance will all be a thing of the past and now he's finally right. Anyone have any ideas what I can get him as a wedding present? And no, the lingerie doesn't count. He's getting me a Tiffany's charm bracelet so I have to get him something around that kind of value.. I am getting him a bunch of stuff for his PS3 but that hardly counts. I've never been too good at gift giving.

Hey ideas...I was looking at this idea the other day, where you create a book for your bloke...it can be a story book or just a book of your own words...even just poems. You send the company the pics that you want in it and build it up online...choose your design and layout...it looked so awesome and very special. I have no idea what the site was called but will try and find it again for you all.

Also I had Ken a lickle heart sent to Iraq while he was out there for his birthday. You can get these pebbles or heart shapes in silver and gold or just the effect of silver...they say lickle messages on them...I got mine personelised....also the message in a bottle is a sweet idea, we are going to try and get our wedding invites done like it....you can have a poem or special things put in it...or a lickle letter. They are soooo cute...Just a few ideas...I will be back asap with any pages I manage to re find.

Sorry to hear about your Dad...maybe the meds will hold it off for a good long time...fingers crossed......Just think this time next year you guys will be able to go for a nice lickle meal...or just buy more underwear and a bottle of Champers for the evening...big bubble bath or hot shower;) You can celebrate together and then soon afterwards your 1st wedding anniversay...woooo hoooooo.

We think we are one of those anoying couples that ever one hates because we are always together and one day will end up wearing the same clothes..I have a pic of us both laid on the bed wearing the same Army tops lol...geeks arent we?

I was really down yesterday, specially cause i decided not to travel until i get my visa, they stop me all the time, and i don´t want any trouble that isn't necessary... i miss my honey a lot, not used to spend a month without see him, and i will have to wait until that... oh well, the waiting is worth it, i am marrying the best man for me, what is another three months of waiting if i am going to be with him for the rest of my life?

Ok, so i guess I will have to go back to my stripping poll, maybe that will help and get me my interview and visa.... lol.

PS. Good luck to everyone that have the interview, but honestly i dont think you guys will need it cause you will have that visa at no time.

Yes I have to admit that I had been looking for something special for Ken on our day. Thats why I had afew suggestions...there the kinds of things Id been looking at. Thanks for all the suggestions, girls! They're awesome. I think I'll go into my favorite artsy fartsy, all homemade crafts stores in this nearby town and look around in there, too. It's been an exhausting day, we went to Sam's Club (wholesale warehouse type thing) for about two hours and then went to our local grocery store for another hour and a half.. all in preparation to start cooking tomorrow! I'm getting excited to bake the cupcakes.. it'll be hard to not dip into them until Sunday.. but gotta fit into that dress somehow, right?

Leslie, any dress ideas for you? If so, let's see pictures! No skimping out on us allowed.

I have my dress on order. I bought it in the U.S as it was sooooooo much cheaper. They ordered a 25" waist, so I really gotta work on the weight thing, after the summer of course. Too many Smirnoff Ice & Creamsicle drinks to keep me busy this summer! (is there a drunk smiley i can put here?)

Here is the dress, this is just the "try on" dress. Mine will be white & knee length & very very tight. So, basically NOT this dress! Hahahaha!
