Aww, thanks! I'm trying to stay patient and not panic. I did check with our Congressman on May 10 and we found out it was on an adjudicator's desk. I'm thinking if I don't hear anything in month, I'm going to harrass them again as that would be the five month mark, but I hope it doesn't get to that! Fingers crossed!

I can't believe you still don't have it, that's ridiculous. Then again, a fellow January filer only just got their NOA2 the other day.. if only there was an actual system in the USCIS and it was first come first serve. I know how you feel. It sucked seeing people who had an RFE after me get approved BEFORE me.. like.. are you serious? Really? Ugh.

I took a break from VJ for a while too. It hurts seeing everyone progress after you when you're still stuck on square one. I made a wish for that January filer on a shooting star and a few days later it came true.. I'll go star spotting tonight and try to do my best for you, too. I hope it works. You'll be in my thoughts.

Like i said before, i feel ashamed for complaining... i cant like Lohninck and look for shooting stars because is raining up here, but i believe in God, so i will pray for you and a friend that has her interview tomorrow, by her self, her fiance cant come to go with her... Sand T, some people get the P3 and some dont, or maybe they dont put it in the timeline, but the link you sent me is good, got a lot of the information... Thank you so much cause it is helping, at least is people dealing with the embassy in Dominican REpublic... I am falling up with this girl that has the interview tomorrow and her boyfriend cant come, she is being giving me info about procedures, i am praying for her, because she is going tomorrow alone to the interview. I didn't know a company can cancel a vacation one day before, that sucks... Thank God the people i work with are so nice, i dont think they would do something like that to me.

UK, is better for me to be crazy,lol, i am trying to think in something else, like getting my wedding dress, thinking of places, simple things like that, lol...

I think I saw some numbers for 2009, maybe a whole 80 people from Belarus came into the US, and there aren't exactly a whole lot of current VJ members going through the same process, but we did find one other couple a little earlier than us, any information helps! You might want to post on that forum and ask - I found we could download the P3 and just send it in once we knew they had our case, and if you're supposed to get one, they may not schedule the interview until the Embassy receives it, so I would suggest making sure. Yeah, there's something just wrong in that situation. Amusingly, she has had Visas all over, including Poland, but for non work with the invitation they will only grant 3 days, without jumping through some annoying hoops.

I also need a different Visa to be able to leave and come back, you can't get a longer term multiple entry Visa, or I would have had one long ago.

Good news n bad news...

Good news...we got our P3! Got that sent off to MTL. They should get it Mon before noon. Now the big 4-6 month wait for an interview. Boooooo!

Bad news...We still haven't gotten our NOA2 in the mail! We had to wait the 30 days from approval before we were allowed to call & say we still haven't gotten it. We called today & they want $340 to reissue it! Can you believe it?!?! We appealed it & now we hafta wait 5-10 days to see what their decision is. Un-Be-Lievable!!!!!!

Boo, Peter was meant to schedule his medical today but she's not open on Fridays, so we have to wait till Monday. I think I'm just terribly impatient.. I just want him here with me, not seeing him since January suuuucks.

Looks like they dont sent a P3, i download the forms and take them to the embassy on the interview date, i checked on every VJ member dealing with the DR embassy, and non of them have the p3... DOS told Honey we are getting a package with the interview date and to schedule the medical, nothing else, i will wait then... it takes a few more weeks... I ask to a closed timelines with DR embassy and didnt get anything, just the interview date and papers to bring...

Dude, that's absolutely ridiculous! Just because they lost it or forgot it or it got lost in the mail means $340 for a piece of paper with your A# on it?! What?! Fight that, girl.. fight it hardddddd.

We just an email this morning saying that "as a courtesy" they will send us a second 1. I guess Scott's total freaking out on their a## got them to rethink their idea of charging us for another. Like really. So, in their mind NOA1 costs $455 & NOA2 costs $340???? I DON'T THINK SO!

Geez, what a bunch of morons. I'm glad you guys are getting what you should have had a month ago anyway. It took them a while to get me my NOA2 when it usually takes less than 2 days to get from VT to NJ.. oh well. Happy things are all working out.

Good for Scott, as if this whole process doesnt end up costing enough, hard work, upset, frustration and cash already without the added pressure of them losing things like this, never mind then wanting to charge the petioners for their problems. So glad you guys are getting it sent (again) for nothing.

Lets go get this over then lmao...Ive bought the children an colouring/activty book in their fave characters, bags of fruit incase they get peckish....DS lites are at the ready too as a last resort Hopefully that will keep them amused for a lickle bit of the waiting. I will be back on Wed night and will let you all know how it went. Just so glad to be actually doing something rather than sitting about waiting. Hopefully we will get the interview through soon. Im a lickle worried as the children havent got the Hep C shots, we want them doing in the US instead. Hopefully that will be ok.
