Thanks. She was 12. We actually got her only 4 years ago from a couple who couldn't take care of a dog anymore because they had a kid on the way and it would be too much, so we took Mavis, our dog, in. The owners kept in touch though, and although they live about an hour and a half away, they were honestly going to come visit as soon as they heard she was at the end of the line this morning, but they didn't make it in time. She was a great dog and I'm just happy she's not suffering.

I hope you get your interview soon! When I called NVC today just to see if they have Peter's A# since I hadn't had the NOA2 hard copy yet (I got it now, finally, geez) and the girl asked for my case number, she was thrown off by the CPN since no one ever seems to apply for a Dane, and said I must be lucky that there's so little traffic at the Embassy. I can't imagine not being able to have an interview for another few months. I'll get a midget of my own and borrow my neighbor's donkey to bring a lot of good luck your way.

Yay, the package is already in Copenhagen and on a Sunday at that. Some Danish/American guardian must be looking out for us. Maybe karma is trying to make up for it after I lost my job and my dog in the same week.. that'd be nice.

I'm spending today watching Wedding Central on TV.. it's a wonder I'm not on Bridezillas after all the stress of the visa on top of the wedding, but there's still a little under 6 weeks left, there's time for me to tap into my true potential.

I'm thinking it might be better to show them the video after coming back home together. Then again, I suppose it could be used to threaten them, telling them we'll be partying outside their doorstep next if they don't behave nicely?

You all have my best wishes with you. I definitely know how hard it is to be away from the one you love.. I've been doing it for years. But just knowing that not long from now I'll never have to drop him off at an airport again (except for, you know, business trips some odd years from now!) is a very comforting thing.

I got the letter from NVC today AND the Embassy got the case today as well. Danish post seems to move very fast, so we're hoping Peter will have P3 soon. My step-dad filled out his affidavit of support and wrote a letter from his company (he's the president, so it didn't take much bribing from him, lol) so despite my unemployment we should be safe.

Just got back from a day of pampering with my Mom at the mall. Went to Sephora and Build-a-Bear.. I think I'm still a kid on the inside, because I requested a bridal Build-a-Bear at my shower. Peter is getting one too, even though he thinks Build-a-Bear is a cult.

If you browse through the recent posts on this thread, I wrote what the letter said for pk3...someone else had asked simlar to you.

Pk3 isnt really a packet (I think it used to be) it was just a letter stating they had got the approved petion and what page I needed to go to on the LONDON embassy site. I had to fill in some more forms and send them back, along with a checklist to gather the documents you will need for the interview..then you check everything off and post that back too. I sent everything off together in the same pack the next day as we had everything already together.

Good luck to us all....I know what you mean about having to leave at airports...its one of the worse things ever. So hard to do. I dream of the next trip, when Ken gets to the UK for the interview...Im sure he wont have to leave alone again....the next time he flies from the UK to the USA the kids and I will be flying with him and we will never have to do this again (like Christina said, other than work...hopefully no more deployments though!)

We all have bad days for sure though lmao...Im always having bad days I think lol. I miss him so much.
