I wish I knew what was up, poacher. It's getting more and more disheartening as the days go on. Whoever's at VSC absolutely hates us January filers. I can't believe there's still a whole bunch of us left while people from March are getting approved. No such thing as justice in VSC, that's all.

Today I kept busy by doing a self make up trial for the wedding since my friend who was meant to be my make up artist can no longer make it. http://i46.tinypic.com/2yl9zee.jpg I think I'm fond of the right side myself. Matches the detail of my dress, which is rad. What say you, fellow female February filers? <-- filling my F quota for the day. There's a couple of f words I have for VSC in particular, but I'll keep my calm for now.. but we know Jersey girls aren't good at holding their temper for too long.

Personally Im liking the the side with the purple on the bottom eye liner...lol...but purple is my fave color and I think that it sets off the color of your eyes chick :)

Good luck and fingers crossed for today...maybe just maybe.

Confusing, way to lead the charge. It is nice to actually see someone get through all of this. I know you aren't finished with USCIS for years, but you have jumped the biggest hurdle. We should be reading in a few more weeks about some more visas in hand, you showed us the way.

I agree - I love the purple color and it really makes your eyes stand out! I love sephora and I hope getting pampered lifted your spirts a bit. Perhaps our applications are on the same desk and the adjudicator took a long coffee break? As of May 10th my congressman's office told me this information, but I'm still waiting. We're in the same boat, but I hope we hear something soon.

Feb 2, 2011 - mailed application to Chicago Lockbox

Feb 4, 2011 - packet received

March 4, 2011 - Biometrics exam completed

March 7, 2011 - Received notice that application is being sent to California

Thank you both for the input! Purple is my favorite color too, the entire theme of the wedding is purple and ivory. I definitely think I'm going to go with the one on the right. The right side is all Make Up For Ever with Urban Decay eyeliner.. I never even wore makeup until about a year ago, so I'm surprised I seem to be okay with doing this. Sephora has been the recipient of way too many of my paychecks since, oopsies.

They do seem to looooooooove their long coffee breaks at VSC, so I wouldn't doubt it for a minute. Probably gossiping about So You Think You Can Dance and wishing they had more exciting lives than just slacking off and giving approvals.. it's okay, VSC employee, you can give Nancy and I our approvals and know you'll be making two girls very happy somewhere. Do your good damn deed of the day!

awww thank you girlies :) I think it is all exciting as well. We didnt want the "big" wedding thing and def wanted just an intermate ceremony. We really loved all the old fashioned kinda victorian...medieval princess looks so it kinda grew from there I guess. ken knew he would love a outdoor wedding and I love the thought of a kinda Maid Marion n Robin Hood feel to it, like all natural. So it came together just perfect really. All very exciting and yes...unique is a good word for it, then again we think ourselves as unique....geesh we fell in love over a war zone...lol. Kinda unique in a way :) I will definatly get pics up from the day. You guys simply must do the same though. I very much look forward to seeing everyones special day pics.....not the night ones though....lol lets keep them to ourselves eh girls ;)

Im calling the consulate in the morning to see if we may get our interview date.....fingers crossed.

we got ours in 82 days, but having said that theres still afew others here that havent got their NOA2s back yet either, at least you know your not on your own but I guess that isnt much help. You could always get in touch with your local Congressmans office. Thats what we did and afew others here. They can at least find out for you where you are, give you piece of mind that your actually there and they havent forgot about you.......maybe all your files are together in a ....dum dum dummmm "box" and they havent picked that one up till last????? Just a thought/idea...but Id maybe get in touch with the congress....fingers crossed for you that it arrives real soon.
