Oh, and UK, I will work the cleave alright. The good lord has blessed me with DD's and I will work that with my time on this Earth to the best of my damn ability. ;)

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Awwww, thank you all so much. Even if I don't have my NOA2 today this has certainly cheered me up. My dress is from Alfred Angelo's Dream in Color line. My detail is actually a grape purple but they had the mauve one in store when I first went in to see if it was a good match. When I actually got to try my own dress on, I got the message that we had an RFE, so I was in no mood to take pictures. I lost my "glow" but I'll have it back as soon as VSC wants to cooperate! Thank you all again! <3

Awww...it's really very pretty and I like that the detailing is a different color from the dress! It's important to remember the bigger picture and I'm sure looking at the wedding dress is a good start! Have you planned your wedding yet? Are you planning on getting married in Denmark too?

Feb 2, 2011 - mailed application to Chicago Lockbox

Feb 4, 2011 - packet received

March 4, 2011 - Biometrics exam completed

March 7, 2011 - Received notice that application is being sent to California

Awww...it's really very pretty and I like that the detailing is a different color from the dress! It's important to remember the bigger picture and I'm sure looking at the wedding dress is a good start! Have you planned your wedding yet? Are you planning on getting married in Denmark too?

We have indeed planned our wedding for July 24th, 2010 in my parents' 2 acre backyard. We're getting a big 30x90 tent and we have a pool and are renting all the works, complete with a photobooth, candy buffet, and of course, an open bar. :innocent: Despite the delay with the NOA2 we still have faith that we will make it on time, even if he's shaking off the jet lag at the altar. We are very incredibly thankful that Denmark moves so fast. A December filer we've been talking to sent us a preview of Packet 3 and they had a 3 day wait between Packet 3 and scheduling an interview date.. as long as NVC feels like cooperating too! Since Denmark is such a small country, things like police reports happen the same day they're requested. We have everything we need ready, just need the packet 3 and interview date and we're good! As much as I would love to have a wedding in Denmark, too, it's simply not in the budget. The money is there but it would be better spent starting our life together. His parents, his older brother, and his brother's girlfriend are coming to the wedding, too, and we're incredibly honored as this is their first time to America. Heck, his parents are in their 60s and this is the first time they've ever been on a plane!

Planning the wedding (it's just me and my Mom planning, as Peter can't do much while still in DK.. not to mention, he's a guy, let's be honest, he doesn't care about every single detail as long as the big event is nice) has been very fun and a nice way to distract myself from VSC's laziness. Some days get harder than others, but today was fun. I got to spend money money money at Sephora on make up for the wedding. I get to be all pretty, yay!

Haha! Yeah, I'm afraid breast feeding can ruin a lot. One of my bridesmaids is my age but she has a 2 year old daughter already. She's my flower girl, too! http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs291.snc3/28201_388776544097_826579097_3812509_2363729_n.jpg Hers used to be even better looking than mine (I sound so massively egotistical, but it's the one thing I have to be proud of, dammit!) but after Olivia happened.. less so, the poor girl. I'm looking forward to having kids but I'll take my time alright.

I hope we all get to remain friends after we're all married and in the Adjustment of Status part of our journeys. You're all the bestest. (L)

Oh man!! Sooooo adorable! I love your daughter's huge eyes. :) By the way, which state are you moving to once you're here? Sounds like a fun little Brady Bunch you've got going. Big families are great. I have 3 brothers and once I'm married I'll have 2 brother-in-laws, 1 sister-in-law and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. His one niece, from blood relation, is absolutely in love with me and she can't even speak English that well. But when you're that age, and you just want to play, you don't really need to speak too much. She makes me want to have a daughter of my own, but we'll see what the luck of the draw will bring!

I hate to detour from a conversation about eyeglasses, boobs, and babies...ok, so I won't. :)

Back to lurk mode I go. Almost. :)

Warsaw received our petition, and it may have been the still unanswered email requesting it, but she has her Packet 3.

I thought I saw something on this, but now of course, can't seem to locate it, about sending it back signed or unsigned for the DS-230 Part I?

I'm off to go look again.

I'm afraid to jinx anything, but am hopeful I will be back at our "other home," and more importantly, with T, within a few weeks, as soon as we have the interview date.

I will so not be missing Skype for a long time to come. :)

Mailed K1: Fedex to VSC Feb 19, 2010

NOA1: Feb 22

NOA2: May 17 (84 days, no touches, both SMS and email notice received a day later)

Rcvd at NVC: May 19

Sent on to Embassy: May 21 (in reality, May 24th)

Received at Embassy: May 26

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Packet 4 received: June 16 (emailed appointment date June 11)

interview: July 19th (Warsaw - APPROVED!!!)

POE: July 24th :)

Sorry Lohninck, I was touching myself after viewing your pics. My hand slipped. Ooops. By the way, don't touch that without an updated shot record and gloves.

Doc, we are on a dual mission. After we crash UK's nuptuals, we are headed up the Jersey Turnpike to exit 7A, to make Lohnincks life hell.

Leslie, we expected more out of you. Where you at? Damn wannabe. Step your game up.

Aww shucks. That's the nicest thing you've ever said about me.. if that was a compliment. Not so sure sometimes.

I wasn't always so touchable. Last year I was 45 lbs. heavier than I am now after tons of dieting and exercise 5 days a week. Unfortunately, since all the stress of the wedding and visa have got to me, I have stopped going to the gym as much and have lost some of my muscle tone since before the stress started in January, but I'm still in a better place. Once I get my NOA2 I'll hit the gym 5, maybe 6 days a week.. pleeeeeeeease, VSC, give me my thinspiration back!

Oh, and poacher and Doc, it's called an open bar for a reason! It's open! Come on over and spice it up a bit! ;)

Though that may scare the mail man away. I'm not lucky enough for DD's...double something but not D! :(

My wait will be a very very long 1 with Montreal, who I guess is 1 of the slowest in the world (wonderful) So...Poacher...what do you suggest for Montreal? Should I dance with some poutine all over my body???
