You need to call NVC and get the date they sent it on. If they say they sent it on, get your Embassy case #, and the date they claim, example date June 1, 2010.

Go to DHL site, track by reference not by tracking number.

For the reference number, use the format:

EXP < DAY > < MONTH > 2010A

ex: EXP 01 JUNE 2010A

You need the spaces in between.

You will then get a list of packages (including tracking number). Search for your embassy. Note all tracking numbers matching your embassy.

NVC may be off on the date by a day or two as well, so change the date to the date before, two days before, a day after if you have no matches, or to track all of them.

Hope that helps.

Thanks! I got it to work...just wished if we knew who's was who -

hey Sophia...when did you say your package got to or left the NVC...Im wondering if this one could be either of ours then...or the one that left the other day is ours and this is yours....that would be awesome...its a nice thought :)

Hey - they told me it would be mailed out tomorrow or on Monday so I can't imagine it is ours - however I did have a thick packet I sent to USCIS....LOL! I don't think it weight that much though - I wonder if I have my receipt with weight info from when I mailed it to USCIS?

You have to click on the tracking number that starts with 9 in the first column of the big list, and it directs you to a page with details for that specific shipment..

They're all marked at "Shipment Details Received" right now, I hope they get underway soon, I love tracking international packages and seeing where they stop on the way :D

They will, probably already updated. Pickup records as ~4-5pm, but doesn't get updated on the web in real time, wait a few hours and it'll show as the entire batch (same EXP... code) will all move to picked up/scanned etc.

Mailed K1: Fedex to VSC Feb 19, 2010

Received at Embassy: May 26

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Thanks! I got it to work...just wished if we knew who's was who -

Nearly all of the packages out of 50-75 on the day ours went out, it seemed like every single package was going to a different country, pretty amazing in a way!

Sadly, somehow NVC can schedule a pickup, which generates a tracking number I'm quite sure they have, but they can't give it out. Hmm, this reminds me of something - military intelligence, perhaps? :) (no offense ds and kharkov)

But hey, even if you're watching two going to the same place, they ARE delivered and signed for at the same time. :)

Monday is Memorial Day; I'm unsure if DHL is shipping, but pretty sure NVC won't be open Monday.

yeah, i know what you mean. i usually stay at pan pacific here in manila. but she wanted me to stay at their extra house here in qc sunday night, monday night, tuesday was a resort in subic, wed and thurs was pan pacific, fri was here in qc, and tonight will be pan pacific so i can get them to shuttle me to the airport for my flight home.

but trust me, i know what you mean... im the same way. very very picky when it comes to hotels.

Don't feel bad, man.. I've been here in Morocco for 4 months enjoying the turkish "toilets" and fabulous water "pressure" (like, trickle).. you're not alone ;)

oh my... thank god they have normal toilets here :) but the water pressure depends how high i hold the bucket from my head :P
