Ours was sent to Montreal yesterday! Whoot! I tried the DHL thingy & couldn't figure it out. If anyone else can, make sure you post it!

I am glad to be back. Kirk and i have been speaking. Anna's Grand mother passed away sunday night. I did not speak to Anna until this morning. To be honest, i did not know where we were at?

we spoke this morning for hour or so and we will speak tonight again. Cell phone was in back of taxi, she lost it. No internet at her flat. To be honest, i did not know if the visa approval scared her to death and she had chosen another direction.

Kirk, devil dawg. I love you to death man. You for sure give the title Marine, its meaning.

So, that is where we are at.

Our NOA2 approval was May 21st - now just waiting on the NVC to get to UK - still trying to find out on this website of how to track that information...

You need to call NVC and get the date they sent it on. If they say they sent it on, get your Embassy case #, and the date they claim, example date June 1, 2010.

Go to DHL site, track by reference not by tracking number.

For the reference number, use the format:

EXP < DAY > < MONTH > 2010A

ex: EXP 01 JUNE 2010A

You need the spaces in between.

You will then get a list of packages (including tracking number). Search for your embassy. Note all tracking numbers matching your embassy.

NVC may be off on the date by a day or two as well, so change the date to the date before, two days before, a day after if you have no matches, or to track all of them.

Ok. This is what happen to me on this visit, as i promess i am posting in...

So i came to Migration, they guy didnt ask me too much, why i was coming to NJ, and stamped my passport, but didnt notest until late he marked my custom form so, the guy stop me at the door, took me to my hated little room and leftr me there with other officer...

He wasnt sure about the passport or something 'cause he call another officer who told me, i saw you a month ago! i got scare thinking somebody had stollen my identity,lol. So i said thats not possible cause i have four months i dont travel! so he said to the first one, She is fine...

The first officer told me sooo you r visiting your boyfriend, i said yes (that surprise me couse i didnt mentioned in migration, not that i was liying, i am really going to a wedding but staying with Honey), he said and you work for the airline i work for, i said yes and ask me what i do, i answer and that was it... Oh he told me he try to do it fast and so i ask him politely, cause this happens alot to me , why? thinking he was going to mention my NOA2, and no, he just said, you travel alot, you r young and travel light... That was it...

Oh... and congrats to all that got their approval...

Yes, as far as I know, the only way to know NVC has it is to call them. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ask when they received it, the case number, and when it's been sent out.

Just called NVC and got the good news our file was recieved 5/26 and should be sent to London tomorrow or Monday - WOO HOO!!

Mine left yesterday, the 26th. You use the day before. I used the 25th.

Try it again. I had to do quite a bit of playing with it. It came up with 3 pages. Only 1 went to Montreal & wieghed 5lbs, so I am assuming there were a few in it.

Oh David, I am sorry that you guys have been having a difficult time. Its such a same about Annas G.mother. Please send her our sympathy.

ok so I got it working thank you.

But they said they sent it on the 26th but the only UK that is dated on the 26th has already arrived in the uk....I darent hope that would be ours???? could it be maybe??? I sure hope so.

I just got a call from the Congressman's (less cranky this time) Immigration Specialist and she said she got in touch with Vermont and the case is now on an adjudicator's desk and while a decision has not yet been made, it will be made soon. :dance: I hope whoever has my case is in as good of a mood as I am now! Let's gooooo Vermont!

Yea UK, I think we have worked out. We will speak again tonight. My packet is already on its way to Kiev in Ohio this morning.

I just want to see measureable progress with Anna, police report, papers for cat. anna is blond so getting her to do things is hard sometimes. Kirk can explain us Marines have "OCD" and if we do not have a "plan of action" and execute on it we get all jacked up.

She did get her cell phone back today. Thanks for the support Uk and Kirk. I am still the Kirovograd poacher.
