No, been away from site this weekend. I will just say it has been real confusing with Anna's and grandmother and Annsa's behavior during this time. Spoke to Kirk on Saturday and Sunday he is cool. I have my fingers crossed for everyone this week.

It is the start of a new week. Hopefully one that has a lot of approvals like last week. I was happy and excited for everyone. Had a busy but fun weekend myself. I hope that everyone is still dancing. I have come up with a new theme song for me. Billy Idol's "Dancing with myself." LOL. I hope that everyone gets through NVC quickly and on to your consulate. Get out of my way and don't clog up the system. I do know of one person who is going on two weeks and has not made it to NVC. That is way out of the norm for how NVC operates. I hope it is already on the way to the consulate and his case number is in the mail. I hope everyone has a good week and Lohninck needs her NOA2. Cum on VSC.

Indeed I do! It's sad that there are still a bunch of us January filers hanging around. We should be partying it up by now but we're still tense and stressed. I contacted my Congressman's office today and she said they hadn't even worked on my case yet.. all government employees are slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. :bonk: Let's hope for a lot of NOA2s today, we all deserve em.

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Monday has started out typical. Nobody jumping up and down. Hopefully the rest of this week turns it around for us. Heck, even my midget is depressed. May the NOA2s start flowing again. Off to go get a little touch.

Yeah, even the lady at Congress was pretty rude today. She sounded so offended that I even dared to call her and she acted pretty snappy, too. I'm at peace with Mondays myself, but I guess no one else is.

Awww...I also contacted my Congressman a couple of weeks ago and I had a similar experience. I guess we're seeing it from a totally different point of view - this is probably one of the biggest decisions of our lives and the congressman's office, although they were helpful, see it from a more administrative standpoint. I hope they get back to you soon!

Feb 2, 2011 - mailed application to Chicago Lockbox

Feb 4, 2011 - packet received

March 4, 2011 - Biometrics exam completed

March 7, 2011 - Received notice that application is being sent to California

Well, another call to NVC and they said our package is en route to the Embassy.

I located what is very likely to be the right package, and it may not have been picked up yet, but it's progress. Once it's recorded at the Embassy, I think we'll both be breathing another sigh of relief. :)

Here's hoping everyone goes through NVC smoothly and quickly, and obviously those still waiting on NOA2s are not kept waiting longer.

Yes its been two weeks since they awarded us an approval....a week since we got the hard copy and still we arent in the NVC system. But I feel lucky that we have our NOA2 at least. I hope everyone else gets theirs soon....this sucksssss for you guys who hasnt got theirs yet :(

Fingers crossed for you all. Can anyone answer this question...ive searched around but havent managed to find much...maybe being a "dumb Brit" again.....

We have two children who are 4 and 8 years old....at the visa interview when we pay the visa fee....do we have to pay that fee three times over...once for meyself and then another time for the children...so if its like $350 do we then have to pay $1,050 or just one $350??????????????????????

Uk - that's awful. :( I fully expected to call NVC for some time, and to be almost laughed at when I called back today - I didn't bother to call them on Friday because I was thinking it would be longer.

I did a quick search and from what I've read, it seems each the fee is * number of dependents/children covered by the K1. I'm sorry, I'm sure it's not what you want to hear, especially with the increased fees, but it seems to be the case. :(

Break out the brass pole, the crisco, my midget, some soon to be defiled farm animals, the video camera, and some gardening tools. It is on. Just received the text and checked the website. I'm thinking of streaming as a pay per view, except of course to the fine people at VSC and NVC. Theirs is free. I'm going to reach new lows. Darn midget broke the vacuum. He will pay. Kyiv here I cum. Keep dancing people.

Awww thank you for that, kinda what we was thinking....it seems everyone is out to make money on us falling in love lol. Theres no need for the fee to have jumped to almost double....its bad that they can get away with it I think....but oh well what can we do...we are totally at their mercy for the moment we put forward the I-129f...and it bloody well sucks lmao, ok so Ive had a rant, esp as Ken called the NVC again today and stilllllll nothing. They say it takes 10-15 working days.....lmao. what a croc!!!!!!

Anyway Poacher....Im being dumb again but Im I getting this correct in thinking that you and Vika just got approved??????????????????
