I just received a text and email this afternoon that our case was updated. Apparently, our petition was approved and mailed out 05-17-10. It's kind of funny because I am flying to the Philippines tomorrow morning so I won't be able to get the "hard copy" until I return.

Looks like we're still moving in the right direction.

VSC must be moving along. We got touched yesterday and then again today. No change in status yet. But, hey, at least someone has finally found our file!

Oh, BTW. No touches seen, both myself and my other half checked this morning in our respective time zones, nada until the text message.

I have no idea when they batch process, I would think it might be twice a day, at midnight and noon or so, but apparently not, as my NOA2 was dated the 17th, but got the text, email and site update on the 18th, with no touches.

The text message does NOT give the same info as the email does. The text simply says case updated, visit uscis.gov. Which of course, you might think "God, please let it not be an RFE!"

The email actually says it's approved, as does the site. The site 'dot' will move to post-processing, and the text below mentions 'approved.' So if anyone has only enabled text updates, I would suggest selecting the email option as well.

Of course, there's no 'congratulations' at the bottom of the generated email, but we'll just have to assume they're happy for us, or something.

we passed our medical today... yay. im still waiting on the embassy to acknowledge receiving our packet from the nvc though. it's been 2 weeks, and i called and checked with the embassy yesterday and still nada. hope it's soon.

Thats what happened with us...a touch on the monday again on the tuesday and then a week later we got a hard copy of the NOA2 without our status changing or our text alert....so fingers crossed yours is on its way

Not sure UK, Have not spoken to her since yesterday morning. Spoke to Poach last night was handling a issue at work late. If will speak today it will in the next two hours or so or tonight. I am sure they are shuffling shifts to care for her. They are seven hours ahead of us. I do not want to place pressure to speak to me on her in this time for sure. I understand it. Her Grandmother was in this same shape when i was there in January so none of this is surprising. I understand how hard it is when you loose someone but her grandmother really is no longer with us and knows no one. We will wait and see what happens.

Just spoke to Anna, lights on but nobidy home with grandmother. She knows no one and very bad condition. Anna was very disshoveld as anyone would be. It kind of tants theprocess now a bit but that is life and we will deal with it. You can tell she is ready to leave Ukraine and come here. Said that this morning. all i know right now.

It was great to see all aprovals yesterday and i hope it continues today. Sorry Kirk about last night had a "full Bird" i was dealing with and you know how they can be. Looking forward to more NOA2's today for sure.

Oh well Im keeping her in my thoughts, it is a tough thing to be so far away from you too I am sure. I hope that when her Grandmother is no longer with us her, that the visa process sorts out quickly so that she can come to the USA and start a life with you. At least this hadnt all happened once you guys where sorted maybe that would have been worse?? I dont know, I am sure she is gratful for your love and understanding at this time more than ever.

Lets hope for many more NOAs today, yesterday there seemed to have been a good few...Igors bar chart seems to be over 50% now....thats awesome

Oh by the way....I enjoy making jewellery and hair vines, watches...things like earings..braclets, bangles, necklaces.....I have a site being created and so if anyone is interested in checking out my stuff...I can put a link up to the finished webpage where you can view and purchase. Nothing is too expensive but they are one off pieces most of time. Its my friend and I whos things will be there to view. We can both do made to order as well...the hair vines are awesome to decorate your hair for the wedding...matching earings ect can be made, but they make a awesome alternative to tiaras and can just be pinned into your hair and made up to go with the color theme that you want. Anyway...just thought Id mention it to see if theres any interest....just let me know...(either the ladies or indeed the guys who may want to get their pretty ladies something pretty)

I read it as 50% of the people on this forum who has registered and submitted their applications in Feb has recieved their NOA2s....why do you think thats wrong?? Am I being a "dumb Britt" again lmao.
