Are you planning on bringing your fiancee back when you travel next?? I sure don't know that we could bear it if we couldn't be coming back to USA for the wedding if we were in your shoes!

:star:

LOL I wish Milagros was coming back with me next week, but she's hell bent on taking the nursing boards before she goes.. So July 4 & 5 she takes the nursing boards, July 6 she flies from Davao City to Manila, and July 7th she's flying into JFK.. So it's going to be 59 days between the day I leave her in Davao :crying: to the day I pick her up at JFK

It'll go fast.. (I hope)

I thought our almost 5 years would be enough, too, but VSC is a fickle mistress. I'm sure yours will go smoothly. I'm 99% sure my RFE is a missed signature or something equally dumb like that, because if they honestly have the audacity to ask for more evidence that we've been in the same place at the same time while I sent them pictures and visa evidence of us being in: New Jersey, Washington DC, Denmark, England, and more.. they've got another thing coming.

i sincerely hope it's something that minor. it's just a shame that it puts a delay on things. i hope you're able to clear it up quickly *keeps fingers crossed*

Our Timeline:

11/26/1992 - Met in NYC (Drum & Bugle Corps) and dated for 2yrs

11/30/2009 - Reunited after 15yrs - Feb19 got engaged!

Crossposting from the Jan K-1 thread:

Got the RFE in today! And yes, we missed A SIMPLE YES OR NO QUESTION. Whether or not I've been convicted of a crime/military cirme/etc. I don't know why I must have missed something so stupid, or that I didn't catch it when I looked over the packet a thousand times, but I'm SO GLAD it was just something dumb on my half. :) :) :) I'm sending the response today while it's still early via UPS so it will be in Vermont by MONDAY. I feel so relieved. My fiance is ecstatic, too. I'm feeling a little bashful but oh well. Is that an approval I smell on the way?

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

It is nice to see a little bit of life here. Still no dirty dancing yet. I was off hunting and then my sons had a lacrosse tournament. Kept me busy, but now I see VSC has slowed to a crawl. Well, they can only get better from here. "Come on, you can do it. Yes you can." Just had to give them a little bit of encouragement. I wish I had an RFE, that meant our petition was actually in somebodies hands being worked on, not in the cafeteria underneath a table leg to keep the table from wobbling. From most of what I have seen, people are approved within a week of sending back their RFE. I hope this is the case with yours.

Tom, I am still wishing good things for you this week coming up.

I am going to go touch myself now. VSC won't do it, someone has to.

It is nice to see someone from this month get their approval. Personally, I am not going to start going crazy until about June 15th. Then I will become obsessed. I will of course do the dirty dance earlier then that if VSC smiles on me and approves the petition earlier. That would be nice. I am hoping to see a lot of our group get theirs this week. I am hoping to see big batches of approvals, not just one here or there. Seeing only one or two can actually be depressing. I'm still sending VSC good karma.

Back to touching myself. What else am I to do.

Hi ukprincess... I am glad to see you found your way to this group and check here often to read and post. A lot of help can come from a group with a lot in common.

Good luck to all VSCs. It looks like you are due to start getting your NOA2s.
