Vermont's operating in the 100-130 day mark.. Look at my timeline, 101 days for a NOA2..

The time goes quicker than you can imagine!

LOL...

Thanks for the input! We are watching the timelines and yeah, we figured it would be about then. Just doesn't feel like it is moving sometimes.

As for going quicker than we can imagine?? We can imagine a LOT!!!!!!!!!! LOL.... oh well, back to saving money for airfare and wedding expenses. We're in it for the long haul so I know we'll be okay.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Are you planning on bringing your fiancee back when you travel next?? I sure don't know that we could bear it if we couldn't be coming back to USA for the wedding if we were in your shoes!

:star:

A new week. Let's see if VSC disappoints us again or see if they have a flurry of approvals. It would be nice of them to surprise us and get into February. I know they still have a lot of January and December filers left. I am hoping that some of them just have not updated their timelines. I am hoping good things for all of the people in front of me.

I have a friend who is stuck in Paris with the airlines being grounded. I told him to go to Nice, better scenery on the beach. He hates Paris. Just his opinion. His company told him to hold tight. He wanted to try to go to Spain or Italy and try to get flights out of there. I wish I was stuck in Ukraine. That would be a good punishment for me. LOL.

I hope everyone has a good week. I am doubling my karma to VSC.

Rose and I filed our I-129 petition in February also. It was received at the VSC on Feb. 8th, and I have it registered in my portfolio online for email and text updates. No updates yet. Just figuring we are in for the long wait now. Good luck to all the other Feb. filers. :)

This message is for all the conspiracy theorists who believe the government is "out to get you and watching you with black helicopters": .... Dude! they can't even get a visa application through the system in less than 5 months! You have nothing to fear from the federal government. If they had black helicopters it would take them a year to file the flight plan!:alien:

Not me.. ...feeling soooo rejected!!!

OK, I understand how to know when our file has been touched, but how do you know when someone else's file has been touched?

It is killing me to keep it clean here. I have thought of some funny things, but I would probably cross a line or two. With the volcano, it is not even feasible to fly to Kharkov to get a good touch.

It is nice to see this thread gaining a little life.

Got an RFE today. Not the best news, but at least it means they're working, right? :bonk:

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

I have no idea why yet, I got the text as I was trying on my wedding dress. Perfect timing! I'm almost 99% sure it's because we filled out something wrong, because neither of us have a criminal record, have been in the military, or have even been married before, and we've been together for almost 5 years so we had plenty of evidence. I'll be waiting by the mailbox every day now to see the reason and fix it and send it back ASAP.

But when I do find out I will let you know. :)
