Come on people, our lives are just starting. Do I need to bring back the striper pole, midget, donkey, inflatible pools, garden tools, and items from Adam and Eve to get us going again? I will continue to be a train wreck.

Yes Poacher you do!

Anyways...Scott & I got married yesterday in front of a judge. We didn't tell anyone. The only reason we did this was for AOS. I need to have that all in place by April so we can go on the Kid Rock cruise. The marriage cert. here takes 1 week whereas if we waited until Hawaii, they take over a month for the cert. We will always consider our Hawaii wedding as our anniversary & real wedding. But, I am officially married!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Same day as you Solmarc! Hope your day was wonderful!

I will hopefully be going to Buffalo sometime this month to go lingerie shopping at Fredrick's of Hollywood for the honeymoon. Can't wait! Poacher, do you need modeling pix? LOL

Bri n Joe, good luck with your license!

Kid Rock put on a rock cruise this year, where he & a few other bands were on as well. It was just 4 days of partying, sunshine n rock n roll. We had the best time! So we are booked already for next years.

We wore our Kid Rock cruise shirts for the wedding on Wed as our tribute to the man who brought us together. :)

Hi You guys, Finally i got married, and had my honeymoon... It was great: gas leak, no stove for four days, a 3 mins ceremony (that part is not bad) and a really bad experience with our dinner that ruined our anniversary place because my husband (jejejej, i have a husband) don't wanna go anymore and me either... But even that all of that happen, i am just sooooo happy i am with the man i love, and we have fun together, that's what matters...

We are preparing the documents for the AOS, EAD and all does things. Did you sent pictures or made a package, i just don't know//

I am sooo happy, i will try to put a pic of the ceremony, i was laughing all the time, i was tooo nervous.

The restaurant we did our dinner was were we had our first date, i go every month to have dinner on our day, it was special for Us that's why we did the dinner there and they ruined it... they didn't serve on time, we were planning to finish a nine and at 1030pm was when the served the main course, they left the bar alone, no service in the tables. Nothing i want to experience again... and a funny part, his brother didn't know what to give Us for present and knowing our story about the restaurant gave Us a gift card from them...jajajajajaj...Never coming back there...

But i am really happy i took it the good way, so we don't feel bad, they didn't charge Us for the drinks... so we didn't expend as much as we though, that's money we can save until i get my work permit...

Les and Scott, that sounds like fun and stupidly romantic (wearing the kid rock shirts for the wedding :P). Cruises of any sort or wicked fun and I can't wait to go on one. Hope you two take pics of Hawaii, even if it's not you two (people like privacy), but the landscape! I haven't been since I was 7 and after a bad car wreck, I don't remember much of it. So would be nice to see :)

So here's a story about our eventful Friday trip to New Jersey:

We got the run around on Friday when we went to NJ to get our license. The "county" in which our wedding is in, their municipal office wasn't able to help us as the Registrar was not in that particular day and they had no one to back her up. So we went to the next "county" over where we had to deal with a Deputy Registrar and they weren't going to help us either (despite Joe being in the Military), because we weren't getting married in their particular "county". Which I find really ridiculous, since it's all but a damn street light that separates the "county" line. *shakes head* So anyways, we finally just said, fine we'll get married in your "county" because it was Joe's only day off and time was running out. Then, they weren't going to process it because I didn't have proof of address in the US yet. I'm like, I just POE'd 4 days ago and I am not listed on the lease yet, nor do I have any bills in my name. What did you expect from me?!?! So it's a good thing I had a copy of the packet that I'd sent to the Consulate mths before where it would show where my intended place of residence would be. Thankfully she smartened up and took that for what it's worth. Then...to top off our day, we were told we'd have to drive back out there on Monday to pick it up ourselves. It had to be either Joe or I to do it. Well, Joe being in the Military just can't up and leave post to drive 2.5hrs there to pick it up and 2.5hrs back. I cannot drive in the US, therefore I cannot go. So we were so dumbfounded by this stupid "county" rules. So frustrating.

Thankfully, Joe's Dad went down to talk to the actual Registrar, not the Deputy, and he was able to explain calmly that his son was in the Military and would not be able to pick up his marriage license as he was stationed in another state. So we don't have to worry about finding a way down there to pick it up, because my in-laws will get it for us.

Solmarc, you two make an adorable couple and your dress and ring are beautiful. Sorry to hear about your horrible experiences, but at least the most important one went off without a hitch :P Congrats!

Wow what a ridiculous amount of red tape. Glad it is all working out after all!

We went the CR1 route and initially considered getting married in NJ where my husband lives. The requirements in our county were totally inconvenient as well. In the end instead of a fall ceremomy in NJ we moved it up a few months and got married in the summer in North Carolina. Applied for the license one day, got married the next and had our registered certificates in hand the same day.

Bri! I cannot believe the run around they gave the both of you. Especially Joe who is serving for this country. What a load of #######. I wish you both all the best on the 26th & many, many wonderful years together. Just remember, we are going through all this ####### to be with the one we love, which makes it even more special.

Solmarc, you looked stunning. I hope you & hubby have a beautiful life together.

I applied for my SSN today. Went pretty well. I should have it in about 7 - 10 days. Next step, drivers license & open a bank account!
