Just what I figured, this thread needs more of a pulse. I'm back. I hope everyone had a good Easter. Mine was fantastic. The weather was in the 80's.

Had a good turkey hunt. My 14 year old called one in for my 12 year old. His first bird. On a bad note, my 13 year old fired me as his guide. LOL.

Hopefully in another month we will start getting plenty of approvals out of this group. Then this thread might get a pulse.

Am I the only one that watched the game Monday night. What a classic. Duke won another one. I am not a Duke fan, but one has to admit, they win consistenly. So much for the Big East. Three of the last five championships are hanging on tobacco road.

Let's get ready to dance.

Just checking in here as a late Jan/Early Feb filer too. It is so sad to see VSC crawling at this pace. I am jealous of CSC feb filers. Anyway I am keeping myself busy by packing up, filling and gathering docs I need to send to my fiance so they get there on time. I guess I can buy some valuable time doing that.

Fingers still crossed. :bonk:

tell your 13 year old to come up to where I work here in Minnesota, the turkeys are taking over the grounds where I work.. the birds not the employees... (although now that I think about it)

That was a cruel drive-by posting. Ouch. It is still hurting. LOL.

Now that the NCAA is over, now to baseball to fill the time.

Hang on folks, most of us should be approved within two months.

Then dance baby, dance.

VJ members represent less then 5% of the actual K1 filers.

The K1 used to be approved in kinda 2-3 months before mid-December 2009, now it's more like 3-4 even 5 months.

I wish you all good luck on your journey.

Don't forget to share your feelings, your VJ friends are here to cheer you up.

Oh, and ignore the :secret: , they are not worth it ;)

*Goes back to her November thread  *

it's funny too coz the thought of the other filers slipped my mind. ever since i joined visajourney.com

seeing that vj members only represent 5% of the actual k1 filers... made me laugh today!

coz i think i'm not the only who tries to check other topics of earlier I-129f filers too see the time line.

it gets me excited to see that they've already gotten their noa2... and at the same time.. makes me disappointed when they

haven't received theirs yet. i just find it funny how some of us INCLUDING ME base the wait just on vj members.

to think there are other people applying for the same type of visa who's not logged in to vj.

however, i'd like to think that we are in the upper 5% of the k1 applicants/petitioners.

since, we've been guided by the same people who have gone through the same experiences in the past.

at least we can say we have prepared enough for the needed documents and don't expect much RFEs.

good luck to the FEBRUARY 2010 VSC filers. as soon as you guys are done it will be our time! woo-hoo! excited for that!

just hope that i will hear some more good news about vermont though

This has been a slow week for approvals. Might be the spring break thing. I had a lot of customers on vacation this week because their kids were out of school. I am looking forward to more approvals next week, getting us closer to our NOA2. I am just sitting back and relaxing. It is hard, but it is better then getting too obsessed with this crappy wait. It was good to see a couple of Feb filers get approved. I do hate it for the Dec. people that are still waiting. I am hoping to get a July interview in Kyiv. Luckily for those of us with Ukranian ties, it is only about a month from NOA2 until interview. I see some countries where it is still another three months plus for interview.

It is Friday folks. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I am back to turkey hunting and some bass fishing. Luckily for me Vika thinks it is great that I can go out and get our dinner. She says better than animals raised with drugs in them.

I hope that we have some people on this thread dancing here soon. I will be happy to dance my way all the way to Kharkov. The immigration officer at Boryspil will probably deny me entry when I am in the line "cutting a rug." Crazy Amerikanki. Tom, I hope that you are the first to dance. You are under a tight timeframe.

Tom, I still like my idea of driving to Vermont and having a "conversation" with someone. Folks, this just a joke. The only goverment employees I despise are the idiots in elected office. The "mental midgets" who could not make it in the real world, so know they have to a*s up ours.

I am down at hunt camp, polishing of a few cold ones by the fire. Got to get up in the morning and "fetch the vittles." Won't Vika be so proud. I will drink a few for y'all. No dancing naked though. That might get my redneck membership card revoked. Don't want to upset the fellas.

Here's to a good week coming up.

Vika would be proud. I collected the groceries at 7:45. Woohoo. A beer does taste good this early when it is a celebration beer. Now, I might have to take in a college baseball game. I hope everyone has as great of a weekend as mine is turning into. Oh yeah. Sending some good karma to VSC.
